  THOSE WHO SHOULD HAVE HELPED IN ESTABLISHING OR ENCOURAGING LOCAL MANUFACTURING WERE THOSE WHO EITHER SOLD OR SAW THE MANUFACTURING START UPS BY THE CPP GOVERNMENT RUN DOWN ARE IN GOVERNMENT. THEY GET TO STEAL TAX REVENUES AND CAN GET TO THE BEST GOODS FROM ELSEWHERE. WHY WOULD THEY ENCOURAGE LOCAL MANUFACTURING. IF YOU ARE PUTTING MOSTLY LAWYERS WHO CAN MAKE THEIR MONEY AT TGE LAW COURTS IN POWER, WHAT WOULD YOU EXPERT? NPP AND NDC KNOW WHERE THEY MAKE THEIR MONEY AND CARED LESS ABOUT THE REST OF THE COUNTRY. AS LONG AS GHANA CONTINUE TO BE VOTING THESE PARTIES INTO GOVERNMENT GHANA WILL RETROGRESSING INSTEAD OF PROGRESSING. LOOK AT SINGAPORE AND MALAYSIA, BOTH STARTED JUST LIKE GHANA. WE HAVE NATURAL RESOURCES YET WE ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE. WHY OTHERS ARE BUILDING SKY SCRAPPERS, GHANA IS PUTTING UP COTTAGE MANSIONS IF NOT BECAUSE IF FOREIGN COMPANIES, GHANA WOULD NEVER HAVE SEEN ANY BUILDING MORE THAN SIX STORIES HIGH. NO MORE NPP AND NDC. THEY ARE CREATING MORE PROBLEMS INSTEAD OF SOLVING THEM. NO LONG TERM PLANNING JUST REACTING AND NOT PROACTING TO PUSH THE COUNTRY FORWARD. OUR MANUFACTURING BASE IS IN CHINA. OUR GOVERNMENTS WILL NOT DO ANYTHING WITHOUT CHINA MONEY. ALL OUR GOVERNMENT DOES IS TO BORROW AND BORROW. WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN WITH ALL THESE BORROWING ON OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN? THERE IS ALWAYS A PAYBACK TIME!!!

  First of all Ghanaians regard themselves as inferior,sub-human,primitive and everything black is bad and not good is our problem and addicted to junk foreign goods and controls.We are not proud of ourselve.The late singer James Brown is the only black man who did not hide his colour and proclaim with the loudest voice to the whole universe saying say it loud am black and proud.Our leaders are not proud of its citizen inventors and rally behind them like what the white do,support their inventors and their inventions to create jobs for their people while we let them die and not benefit of their inventor and mock ourselves to march to celebrate independence and take hoilday to celebrate republic while foreigners think for us and dictate to us and tell us what is the do's and don'ts.No right thinking president on this planet will denial Apostle Safo all the help he need to transform its economy and train, engineers,designers and technological know-how only sub-human Ghana presidents will do that like J.J.Rawlings,John Kufuor,Late John Mills and the current president John Dramani Mahama with do such wicked things.

  The Bank of Ghana (BOG) has no Eastern Regional headoffice. The BOG must ask for land from the King of Akyem (Okyehene) to construct this building. I don´t believe that the BOG has accurate data of the economic activity in the at least 12 Akyem districts which make up more than half the population on the region. The GDP and GNI of these Akyem districts are very high. They stem from:
  
  Gold mining
  Diamond mining
  Cocoa
  Oil Palm (the largest in West Africa)
  Timber
  Software development
  etc
  
  The money supply and capital in the at least 12 Akyem districts are wholly inadequate. BOG must remove impediments to the setting up of rural banks in these districts and encourage ADB and GCB to open branches in these districts.
  
  The government must further ensure that wholly owned Ghanaian banks, including rural banks, get at least 80% of the banking revenue.
