HELPLESSNESS, HOPELESSNESS & FEELING OF DESPONDENCY HAS GRIPPED MANY IN GHANA TODAY.
GHANA HAS BEEN RAPED BY THESE NDC IDIOTS. WE DO NOT NEED ANY NATIONAL ECONOMIC FORUM, WE NEED A NATIONAL COURT OF JURISDICTION TO PUT MAHAMA AND HIS CABINET ON TRIAL. GHANA'S HOPELESS ECONOMIC SITUATION, TODAY, IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. NDC HAS OVER THE PAST 5 YEARS PRESIDED OVER THE BIGGEST RESOURCES IN OUR HISTORY INCLUDING CRUDE OIL & STEALTH TAXES. THEY HAVE ALSO CONTRACTED THE BIGGEST LOANS IN OUR HISTORY. IF THEY HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR THIS AND THE ECONOMY IS IN SHAMBLES, THEN,THEY MUST BE PROSECUTED. THEY MUST GIVE THE MONEYS BACK TO THE TREASURY. WE DO NOT NEED ANY ECONOMIC FORUM. SET UP A COURT IMMEDIATELY. IT HAPPENED IN THAILAND RECENTLY, PRIME MINISTER YINGLUCK SHINAWATRA WAS REMOVED BY THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT FOR ABUSING POWER. LOOK AT GHANA, EMBRAER PLANE SCANDAL, STX KOREA, US$20 BILLION NDC PARTY HQ., US$4 MILLION JUDGEMENT DEBT PAYMENT TO MRS. RAWLINGS, SUBAH, GYEEDA, WOYOMI, ISOFOTON, WATERVILLE, AFRICA AUTOMOBILE, CP, SADA, FORTIZ/MERCHANT BANK, AKONFEM AND A HOST OF OTHER DODGY JUDGEMENT DEBT PAYMENTS. BUYING VOTES WITH CASH, LAND CRUISERS & LAPTOPS JUST TO WIN ELECTIONS. WHY NDC?????? WHY??? OUR SUPREME COURT COULD NOT HELP BUT DESCRIBED IT AS "ALLIANCE TO CREATE, LOOT AND SHARE" WHAT A SHAME? ?? AND YOU CALLING GHANAIANS TO A WASTEFUL ECONOMIC FORUM. NDC, THE MONEY IS WITH YOU, GIVE IT BACK TO GHANA. NPP, I SALUTE YOUR COURAGE FOR NOT ATTENDING. NPP REMAIN SMART AND VIGILANT!!!!

Lets hope the honourable Bishop will not be insulted by those who think the NDC administration is the best or second to the first and so the country is far better today than the past years. The fact is clear we are in the poorest times ever known in ghanaian history. Words of boot lickers cannot change things. Instead of sitting down to think of solutions, the ministers go round radio stations to argue out their rights to do us harm.

I visited Ghana just recently having stayed in the US for more than twelve years and I noticed that foreign banks operating in Ghana are the cause of Cedi depreciation. This is a naked truth. Yes, we said we needed foreign investors, they came and now operating maximising exorbitant profits which are even bigger than our GDP. Their respective profits maximised in CEDIS must be taken to their home-countries. How do they take CEDIS into their home-countries? They convert these trillion CEDIS gained here into DOLLARS and other foreign-trade currencies. Therefore putting demand pressure on dollars, that is demand for dollars increases as these foreign banks need them. For example, a Nigerian Bank called UBA, its annual profit is about Gh45 Million, this amount must be taken by the owners Nigerians from Ghana to Nigeria. How can they take these cedi amount to Nigeria? They have to convert it into dollars. So having many cedis on Nigerians to demand for dollars. What happens to the value of the dollar? Surely it would go up as against the cedi. Pressure is being mounted on the dollar from the cedi. And note we have more than five Nigerian banks operating in the country. So you can imagine how much of millions of Ghana cedis as profits they have to convert into dollars yearly or monthly to take to Nigeria .
We have also a South African bank called Stanbic operating in the country earning more than GhC30 million annually in which such an amount must be converted into dollars to take to South Africa by the owners. I don't usually talk about South African businesses operating in other foreign countries as the whole country according to World Records is the most xenophobic country in the world, and yet the country tries to get rooms for operating her businesses in other countries. The least said about that country the better. However, let's take this Stanbic bank converting Cedis into dollars in order for the money to reach the bank owner's country,South Africa, annually, what pressure mounts on the dollar from cedisl. These foreign banks are making big profits in cedis converting into dollars monthly to weak our cedi as they rise in high demand for dollars. This is the cause of the cedi depreciation.

I sorry bishop to say that you are a very funny man.Since Ghana gained independence has our beloved nation been ruled by someone who has not been to school???Has anyone amongst the people we ingnorantly and colonially refer to as illiterate rule before in Ghana??? And yet with the notable exception of osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah most of the rest felt short of their intellectual capacity to lead and rule.Infact what we need in Ghana now and urgently is less intellectualism of the western-slave and colonial type of education and doing things. We urgently need leaders with common sense deeply rooted in patriotism and PanAfrinism. For the intellecutals we need those in the calibre of professor Kofi Agyekum of university of Ghana and we need more of the can do and creative spirit of Apostle Kojo Safo. Please spare some of us any further agony of western intellectual caricatures in Ghana and Afrika who are not able to develop and create anything execept forming groups and special associations of looting brigades to loot and milk our beloved nation and contiment dry.So what kind of intellectuals are you calling for help holy bishop???

There are so many of these intellectual solving same problems elsewhere. In Ghana, idiotic murderers like Jerry Rawlings won't let intellectuals do anything. Remember how they were even enemies of the stupid revolution? Remember how fine intellectuals like Professor Kwame was labeled "enemy of the revolution" because he offered an alternative to the useless JSS/SSS? Remember a fine one like Professor Ansah who was in the same "cell" as Kwame because he was critical of the excesses of Rawlings' madness. So, instead of telling intellectuals to save the country (of course, they are capable), the Bishop should be telling the revolutionaries to quit the political scene, first.

And if the whole Cabinet of your Government, including the President, see this as a priority to supply school girls with 'Tampons', instead of improving on School Feeding, NHIS, paying outstanding salaries of Teachers, etc....

I do not know how the Teachers come into that because the Teachers have always played their role well.
The Student(educated) majority of whom became the CEO's etc,and those who venture into politics and therefore leadership;a good number of them are those whom Sunk/Sink the nation because they are Corrupt. But that is not what the Teachers taught them to be and to do.
Therefore, the question is: in a Country where majority of the people comes out of School Stomach Centered to add more problems to existing ones, instead to resolve them, what do you expect ! So while few are honest and sincere to the letter, majority of the intellectuals are the known and unknown Corrupted thieves, whom Steal by the minute.
The leadership refused to punish those who Committed/Commit Corruption because they the leadership are the Masters in the Subject (stealing).
The few "clean" honest and sincere are overshadowed by the Corrupted majority.
And in most cases, because Birds of the same feathers flock together the position would be denied the person they know to be honest. So Bishop, forget about the so called Ghanaian intellectual because the majority thieves would not allow or give the few honest and sincere the chance to operate.
I think the Country should give audiences to people who exhibit Simple Common Sense, irrespective of their academic background rather than people with high academic degrees with expertise Stealing Sense. That is the way forward.

You see Bishop the conditions of a people can not change unless the mentality of the people change. Ghana doesn't need intellectuals to better the conditions in the country because the Drs. professors and their likes are responsible for plight we are in. Ghana however needs nothing but a people who love their country enough to build it for now and posterity. Ghanaians need to be selfless and sincere to each other about how bad our situation is starting from the churches using the pulpit. The churches are killing the people by not teaching them honor to country and the churches are killing the people by competing with one and another. So I thought they serve the same God. Honor to country enough to build it is honor to GOD.

The intellectuals are greedy corrupt and out of touch with reality. If we have to build Ghana , we have to rely on the 'non-bookworms' and the fitters who went through our technical and Poltechnics education to help us out All the intellectual Engineer does is to stand and direct without the know how of innovation. An intellectual who does not love his country often loots and loots the country's monies without remorse. Also almost all the students who were the most intelligent are outside the country.. People like Avoka. The President and Bagbin were not even close to being the most intelligent kids in their classes or schools. The government has to find a way to work with some of the most talented people in the diaspora to help mother Ghana that has done so much for all of us.

You are right to some extent but Bishop Lodonu, our so called intellectuals are comparatively, the most unproductive group of people in our communities in Ghana. They have no vision, no aspiration, no commitment to take risk or inspire others. They always hide behind their acquired paper qualifications to lord the people and think that qualification is the means to the end and that the world owns them a living. Sadly, they cannot translate their knowledge into practice for the benefit of our communities.
