GHANA'S HOPELESS ECONOMIC SITUATION, TODAY, IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. NDC HAS OVER THE PAST 5 YEARS PRESIDED OVER THE BIGGEST RESOURCES IN OUR HISTORY INCLUDING CRUDE OIL & STEALTH TAXES. THEY HAVE ALSO CONTRACTED THE BIGGEST LOANS IN OUR HISTORY. IF THEY HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR THIS AND THE ECONOMY IS IN SHAMBLES, THEN,THEY MUST BE PROSECUTED. LOOK AT GHANA, EMBRAER PLANE SCANDAL, STX KOREA, US$20 BILLION NDC PARTY HQ., US$4 MILLION JUDGEMENT DEBT PAYMENT TO MRS. RAWLINGS, SUBAH, GYEEDA, WOYOMI, ISOFOTON, WATERVILLE, AFRICA AUTOMOBILE, CP, SADA, FORTIZ/MERCHANT BANK, AKONFEM AND A HOST OF OTHER DODGY JUDGEMENT DEBT PAYMENTS. You made a lot of good points revolving the business class or economy class that parked our footballers like sardine in more that 12 hours journey to Brazil. Boateng even said, the money was not the real problem but the issue was the overall organisation amateur preparation from Ghana to Holland, USA and finally to Brazil. The airlift of monies is left to be judge by the international media so stop that pardon on behalf of the President of Ghana. Yes, Nyantakye must resign and Randy Abbe and coo must also resign for a new breed of officials. Kwasi Appiah must remain but need another visit the millitary school to learn how to stop his timidness. Mahama needed to do his home work rather than last minute airlift of monies from one continent to another continent. That is a shame without pardon. The suggestion by Allotey Jacobs if carried out will definitely attract sanctions from FIFA. We must learn from Nigeria and Cameroon who took simialr actions against their FAs. We all agree on the need for change, but it must be in a manner prescribed by FIFA< ie through elections.

To subject any adult to a long flight in cramped space (economy) where the feet cannot be rested properly is to subject that person to the risk of death from coagulation of blood and formation of a blood clot (thrombosis). Corrupt Nyantakyi and ignorant Appiah subjected the Black Stars to this life-threatening danger just to cut corners and steal the funds meant for the players' transportation. Then, as if all this was not enough, they put the players in a horrible hotel on arrival where leaks during torrential rainfall turned the players' rooms into swimming pools - all because once again they wanted to steal as much of the funds for the players' accommodation!

The flustered stewardess brings back a whiskey for the parrot, but forgets the coffee. When the man points this out, the parrot immediately drains its glass and yells, "And get me another whiskey, you cow!"
The upset stewardess returns shortly with a whiskey for the parrot, but still no coffee. The man decides to try the parrot's approach: "I've asked you twice for a coffee, cow, now go and get it!"

Look Allotey Jacobs, I used to fault the Fantis for not being one and being all knowing and that explains why they were the last region after independence to have had a Fanti man into Osu Castle. What did Atta Mills do? virtually no Fanti man in his cabinet or you could count them with your hands. Atta Mills appointed northerners, at least a third of his cabinet members were. What do we see Mahama doing? That is not to say its okay to infuse your government with 635% of your tribesmen or ethnic group, instead of appointing competent men/women to fill ministerial posts. Mahama has always acted on the limp or been reactionary rather than being proactive. How on earth should a president turn on the very principles it is trying to institute for banks and businessmen with respect to the banking and finance re-structuring exercise in the country? He clearly exhibited an unorganized leadership skills or he did not listen to the advice of the Central Bank's Governor nor his finance minister. Either way it was silly for the president to have carried huge sums of money physically to the players in Brazil. No confidence in the banking system nor does he trust what is called plastic money or checks. By extension, the international comunity and local business' will not have confidence in the Cedi. Any doubt why the Cedi continues to depreciate against all major currncies of the world, Allotey? indeed, the Fantis were the first to have encountered politics in its raw form with the colonialists, yet they were the last to occupy the seat of government because the "frys" were too much into the heads. Mahama has shown that he was not ready for prime time and so are most of his ministers he has appointed. He has shown time and again as some one suffering from complex, either inferiority or superiority complex; either way, he is not right and not fit for a second term. Ghana will be better off if he does not contest for a second term. He has so polarized our body politic.
