Sulley: WHAT IS THE USE OF SOO MANY G.F.A OFFICIALS & OTHERS HERE? You Are Basically Non-Essential and have no role or duties here. Your Number even dwarf that of the players... You receive Bonuses for no work done. You are a drain on the Govt.... You always make money on our back and you see every Tournament as a means to make money.... And You Have The Vim to question us why we want our money?
Moses Armah: Your money will come take time, the captain is speaking….
Sulley: Shut up, are you the one paying the money or you are the Prez?
Moses Armah: I won’t allow you to include me in your list of victims oo…..I'm a gangster more than you.
Sulley: So you can fight me eh (moving towards Moses’ direction disentangling himself from other guys retraining him).
Moses Armah: Am ready for you. You think i'm a coward?
Sulley: (picks a bottle and drop it, surprisingly jumps and slaps Moses) Fuck you!!
Moses: Returns the slap with a blow lifts a fork…and Jonathan Mensah holds Moses’ hand up.
Essien sits quietly, Gyan and Appiah speak Ga to Sulley, calming him down as Moses is whisked away by Saban Quaye

This shows the kind of leaders Ghana is unfortunately endowed. The constitution of the land vests too much power in the ruler to dis-empower the ruled.Ghana's democracy is actually upside down in practice.

The bill as it is presently constructed with a 6-month time lag for the process of accessing the information so requested is disingenuous, lacks tact, presents as a frivolity and needs to be revisited and amended in such a manner as to make it a sensible piece of legislation which addresses information access in a timeous manner.
In our part of the world where the NDC gov't touts itself as being much in tune with the workings of ICT and it's application to governance, with the e-governance platform, any bill which seeks to make access to information a drag to the extent of taking half a year, makes mockery of the bill and what is seeks to achieve. At the minimum, we should gun for 24hours, and a maximum of 5 working days. Anything short of that makes the bill very much unsuited for it's purposes.

The Right to Information law is good but the mentality of the Ghanaian Society is not matured enough to pass this law. No, not now if I have my own way.
Ghanaians need to have a revolution in their minds before such laws could safely be passed to our general benefits with least Abusers of the that particular law.
For example, most people irrespective of their education levels may infringe the law as against the Privacy of the individual.
Right to Information does not necessarily imply every information required could be obtained. Is the Ghanaian aware of that and knows what is the Privacy of the individual ?
We think differently.“ So legislators should look before they leaps".

I already said we think differently. Imagine , taking a quarter of the year to release information makes nonsense of the law.
Therefore, are the legislators not passing the law for laws sake,to frustrate the one making the request and the law not effective ?
If it's not possible to release information required ,it should not take more than 30 days to make that known.Anyway.
