Who cares, these asshols can go ahead to kill themselves and we humble Ghanaians don't give hoot. We are waiting for whoever these idiots may bring to contest with the great NDC, we hungry today in Ghana, things may not be alright today, but we will never give our Votes to the Akan's npp party, no wayyyy. We shall punish npp for the damage they intentionally brought on us in this country. Ghanaians will vote massively for Mahama and the NDC Gov. 2016.

Why should the Police Administration first succumb to pressures from politicians to recruit on the basis of protocol to such a sensitive institution as the Police Service? What has happened is the reason why the appointment of security bosses should be taken away from the politicians who twist the arms of these security bosses to do their bidding which often run contrary to the norms of these institutions.
Giving training to these indisciplined "political policemen" only to dismiss them later over their own misbehavior is dangerous for the entire country as these"thugs" have already been given weapon training and can end up as armed robbers to terrorize the society. They joined the service not for the love and service to nation but owe their allegiance to a particular party and are supposed to serve the interest of those party members even when they go contrary to the laws of the land. In the past when there was no political interference in the recruitment into the security services we produced the finest servicemen, disciplined and ready to serve the nation and not personalities.
The Constitutional Review Committee has a lot to do by way of stripping the President of many of his absolute powers particularly in respect of issues about the independence of many institutions and the appointment of Security bosses.

Please, if Peter Yembilla's name is omitted, then redo the list. He is district commander at Mile 7 police station. He knows what evil he has been engaging in. How about Mr. Amponsah of the same station and also Paul Doe & Mr. Newton? Prez. Mahama, legalize bribe-taking and tax the policemen who take the bribes. The tax alone from policemen can renovate dilapidated police barracks.

I'm surprised people/Ghanaians are happy about this, simply because they don't know the repercussion. Already looking at the rate of robbery in the country I'm suspecting these dismissed police/military officers and you are unleashing more on us.They must be punished severely but not dismissed totally. You can jail those involved in robbery whilst in the force but never dismiss them just like that. I witnessed something ,...a guy claimed he worked at GBC was working on a piece of land, and three policemen approached him that (Abu)made a case against him about the said land. They told him the complaint made encroachment case against him and before I could hear this guy called Elijah asked them"do you know who I am?"Show me your ID cards"they showed him."where is your warrant of arrest?".Then the policemen said the complaint is this man with us here and we met you right in the act so what warrant do you need. When they arrest you right in the act warrant is not needed since even a civilian can arrest a criminal committing a crime in the act.The suspect Elijah resisted arrest by stating point blank that he will never follow the officers to the police station. One of the officers said aah we are in uniform, you demanded our ID we showed you. You know our names and the police station we're taking you too.If you really work at GBC you should have known best that minimum force is allowed and resisting arrest is a crime.Elijah told the officers in my presence that he will cause their dismissal. The officers managed to bring Elijah to the police station and whilst in the car to the police station he wanted to force the car door open and come out. The officers held him and prevented him.Elijah after they granted him bail went and reported the officers to PIPS that they assaulted him.Elijah the suspect forgot that God was there and the whole scenario happened in my presence. He was very arrogant. So if this officers are dismissed what do you think will happen? Well the case is pending but my problem is this, in modern Ghana Elijah did not know that we do call some suspects on phone to report at the station because so so and so complaint made a case of so so and so against him or her.Was it because Elijah thought he works at GBC for that matter is untouchable? At times we blame this innocent policemen for a crime they do not commit.Whey did he not follow the policemen to the office if he knows that much.It beats my imagination.
