Majority of key NPP members were corrupt in Kuffour's government and, therefore, fear for the outcome if their own member Nana Addo comes to power that's why all these NPP party fracas.

Nana is the only leader left who can decisively deal with corruption in Ghana. Hey, all corrupt Ghanaian politicians fear Nana comes corruption comes are teaming up to stop him. The international community is ok with Mahama because they know he will sink Ghana at their advantage.

It is all about some disgruntled former occupants of the Offices these two wrestled away. Those Akufo-Addo supporters who consider the two as Alan sympathizers are the ones that need to be spoken to. Those Nana supporters are sour losers who are just being belligerent and feeding the Public with innuendoes to discredit the two.

Regarding the replacement of the so-called Security Guards at the NPP HQs, I do not see anything wrong with that at all. Every new Administrators have the right to choose who they feel safe working with, especially when the others booted from Power have shown such deep-seated animosity towards the new Officials, and might have hired those former Security Guards.

If the former Security Guards were hired by the Party at large, to offer jobs for some foot-soldiers in the Party, that could be a slightly different issue and can be resolved without undermining the work these 2 new Officials have to do to win the next Elections. Such Security Guards could be found other work within the NPP.

There are certain parts in various organizations that closely affect the sheer lives of Officials and must be set up with the full trust of those Officials.

We may as well be reasonable enough to correctly distinguish between arrogance and mere assertion of one's position on issues within the person's prerogative.

In Ghana, many people misconstrue being firm on issues for arrogance. Often, it is those whose ideas might have rejected, even for lacking merits, that jump to make such accusations. If you fail to do as they want, they waste no time to brand you arrogant.

If the gentleman has not verbally insulted anyone, made any disparaging remarks to demean or offend anyone, let him do his work with whatever swagger he carries in himself. And by "swagger", I am referring to the meaning of the word as presented by the Elite Daily and as follows: "This is the mindset that separates the weak from the strong, that makes a man stand out from the crowd."

Sec. of the most democratic party in the country so your deeds must reflect exactly what this party stands for. Your main responsibility is to unite the party. Any change that needed to be done should have been done after the election. How on earth can you and your chairman declare that the body that elected you to power was unlawfully constituted? Then you're not legitimately elected.
Your press conference after the riot has expose you as an inefficient or bias Gen. Sec.
So either you apologize for your mistakes for which even the die-hard will forgive you. OR STEP DOWN !

This is the reason why Nana Akuffo Addo should be elected to bring the nation together to defeat NDC. NPP you are not better than NDC. Truth be told, every Kwesi ne Ama in Ghana knows NPP's stock in trade while the rogue and NDC in name only (NINOs) led by Mahama has stolen a page from the corrupt practices of NPP and taken it to a disproportionately uneven level. Looting national coffers is the rogue NDC's trade-mark now. How do you explain a Land Cruiser reportedly lost for well over six months and the Minister and the President are sitting comatose? NPP must learn from their past mistakes and put on a national character instead of being Ashanti hegemony party. Its even now no longer Akan party, the scope has been narrowed to Ashanti party in outward looks. We are watching you guys in NPP. Behave yourselves or should NDC remove Mahama, they will retain the reigns of government. Anybody but Mahama can defeat NPP if you people do not change your matee me hu ways. Over to you Oman Ghana.

It's very difficult to elicit support for these two upstarts, Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong as Chairman and General Secretary respectively. Though I knew nothing about these newly elected NPP officers prior to their election I gave them my full support because Kwabena Agyepong has a name recognition and Paul Afoko because I tend to support all underdogs.Also , I strongly felt that the NPP deserved some fresh faces to direct the affairs of the party. I'm very disappointed in the performance of the new executives and wish they resign their positions honorably, asap. At least that will be the honorable and face saving thing to do after receiving so much and squandering so much. Where much is given much is also required. The expectations were very high. One would think they were in to unite and strengthen the party and strategize for 2016 in light of what happened during and after election 2012. This is the worst start for any new NPP administration because they have divided instead of uniting and opened new wounds instead of healing old ones.
