  We don't need the Gas Processing Plant at alllllll! The quantity of gas from the Jubilee fields do not warrant such an investment. The entire gas from the Jubilee field is clean, very clean by industry standards. The entire gas could be used as fuel and burned completely in a turbine to produce electricity for Ghana. The technology is there and we have even offered it to the blind that leads us today. The lure of the 3B Chinese loan hardened their hearts, and today Ghanaians are suffering the tripple agony, 1. we are loosing the jubilee gas, 2. we are buying and paying hard currency for expensive alternative fuel, 3. we have a white elephant of Ghana Gas Company to cater for, which even if completed would not have enough gas in ten years to run it at the current development of the hydro-carbon resources.

  The gas has to be stripped of valuable condensates and LPG, both which are very valuable and make the plant very economic.
  
  Also, dew point control has to be implemented to meet the minimum specs of the Aboadze plant.

  All this nonesense was done to allow Tsatsu and the Ahwois "to benefit from the oil contracts," which they believed had been captured by the NPP people. The Chinese goaded them on because they believed that Kosmos would sell their equity, so some powerful people in government will front for them via GNPC, for their cuts.
  
  These rogue politicians are getting away with it because we have a largely illiterate electorate who will take cups of rice, tins of tinapa and chamber pots and allow thieving politicians to screw the rest of us around.
  
  It is a good thing 'Dum so' does not spare anyone, at least not in the traffic gridlocks!
