Eih!!!!!Ghana paaaa ni? Instead it would be better for invigilators to search the students shoes and socks as well pockets etc. Asking students not to wear socks and shoes to exams is not only abuse but barbaric.

WHY DO THEY PAY INVIGILATORS TO SURVEY THE EXAMS. ITS A NONSENSE THING TO OBEY SUCH RULE IMPLEMENTED BY THE GES. THE NEXT THING YOU HEAR, STUDENTS LOST THEIR FOOT WEAR AFTER WRITING EXAMS AND ITS SUCH A DISGRACE TO GHANA IF SUCH IS DONE THERE. MIND YOU, IT IS NOT ONLY GHANAIANS WRITING THE GES EXAMS AND SO THEREFORE, STOP TARNISHING THE IMAGE OF OUR BELOVED COUNTRY BY IMPLEMENTING STUPID RULES , AFTER YOU HAVE EATEN YOUR BOWL OF FUFU BY NIGHT . This is a disgrace. The pupils are humiliated, abused and denied their basic human rights. There are paid invigilators in every exam hall. What are they supposed to do?
This is an abuse of power.

A woman goes shoe-shopping one day. As the salesman is helping her try on shoes he notices she is not wearing panties. He looks at the woman and says, “Man, I’d love to fill that with ice cream and eat it!”
The woman slaps the man and runs home to tell her husband. The husband acts disinterested and his wife gets angry and asks, “Aren’t you going to do anything!?”
The husband replies, “First of all, you have too many shoes as it is. Second, you shouldn't be out shopping without panties. And third of all, I’m not going to mess with anyone who can eat that much ice cream!”

simply inspect the shoes and pairs of socks before they enter the exam's room...where do you keep all the footwear?

This is uncivilised and silly on the side of Ghana Education Service. The minister of education should know that we are in the 21 century and this act is against the international law of justice and it is against the Human Right, not in any part of the world for which students would be asked to removed their socks and shoes then if that is the case then asked them to strip naked at the exam hall, if they think that the students can travel with foreign materials to exam hall. At my point of view they are trying to traumatized the candidates to avoid them to succeed in their exams. I will say that those invigilators and amongs others are the foreign materia which is the so called (apooo)because they are the people who sell and leak exams to some schools in the country and make those schools number one in the country.
It is a shame to this great nation, the so call democracy which alows people to fight for their right and give their opinion. If these things is going then they should know that the world is watching us.

WAEC must modernize its practices. It must have 4 different sets of questions to be shared alternatingly in the classroom. WAEC must not forget the aims of the earlier education reform. The JSS is to enable JSS graduates find employment when necessary. Therefore WAEC must generate good BASIC EDUCATION CERTIFICATES for this purpose.
There have been reports of no police presence during KNUST examinations especially at the medical school at KATH.
With WASSCE and BECE there is police presence and any student caught cheating is immediately arrested. University exams demand even greater policing.
The Takoradi Poly Students who were sacked for applying with fake certificates must be prosecuted in a court of competent jurisdiction. Just sacking them is not enough.
Nowadays businesses and government organisations have stopped demanding Secondary School Certificate or Basic Education Certificate.
Each of these certificates are important. For example for many tertiary graduates the only certificate that can tell whether one can speak good English or whether one has adequate knowledge of Mathematics is the Secondary School Certificate.
Similarly the only certificate that can tell whether a tertiary graduate has basic knowledge of Ghanaian history, culture, agriculture and the basic geography of West Africa is the Basic Education Certificate.
