  Ask yourself the following questions before making noise:
  
  1. How effective is Solar Energy?
  2. Will bush fire burn down solar panels?
  3. What is an efficiency of Solar Project?
  4. Is average 21% solar efficiency smart investment?
  
  5. What is the life cycle of Solar Energy project as compare to Bui Dam?
  6. Does solar panel maintain its efficiency if there is DUST or Smoke in the environment?
  7. Do we need to clean the solar panel s everyday to maintain effectiveness of its 21% output?
  8. How often do we need to change its batteries?
  9. Is it cost effective?
  10. How much will our people pay for power?
  11. Will they pay 25-pesewas or 10 Cedis per kilowatt, as compare to Bui Dam?
  12. Can VALCO run their AL-Pots, using Solar Power cost effectively?
  13. If solar energy is that clean and cost effective, how come is the nation of Germany, still depending on DIRTY COAL POWER, GAS and others to maintain their factory production.
  
  14. Is the Nation of Ghana going produce the panels in Ghana, or just be SCREW DRIVER, just assembling?
  
  15. How much good agricultural land need to be wasted to produce Engineer Woode "STUPID 622 MW SOLAR PROJECT"

  It's sad that all the comments so far have been against Mr. Woode solar idea. Funny though that the same people who want us all to blindly accept whatever the government does and not question it are not willing to ask Mr. Woode for details before condemning him and his ideas. If Germany, which has fewer hours and days of sunshine thinks its prudent to add SOLAR to its mix of energy sources, why haven't we done likewise when we sit only 5 degrees of the equator? More info about engineer Woode and Solar will help educate our people and policy makers. Thank you Mr. Woode for bringing up an alternative energy source for discussion.

  This is a post mortuary comment that is no longer at this time.In Germany the engineers are Germans and the supply of the expertise is in abundance therefore the price in Germany is low. Show me one solar energy expert in Ghana.You should learn to appreciate people's effort.If you could start negotiating for another facility for 622 mgw that will be good news after all the energy need is not yet sufficient.
