On sober reflection common sense always reminds me that though Nana may be overwhelmingly popular within NPP, but all over Ghana and the world Nana is associated with marijuana smoking drug barons. Other negatives include Nana being a womaniser, Nana as an arrogant person, and Nana being unpatriotic and very divisive having declared all-die-be-die.

The Wikileaks papers conclusively proved Nana's drug addiction and his association with drug barons was confirmed 4 weeks ago with the arrest of the world's most notorious drug baron, the MD of Le Baron Hotel in East Legon. This drug baron is Nana's closest friend - he donated 100 motorcycles to Nana for the 2012 campaigns!!!

Now, with all these negatives is this the man we can present to Ghana? Which Ghanaian will be proud to have a marijuana smoker and one sponsored by drug barons as their president?

I therefore believe we must think twice and not support Nana because he is just not suitable to lead us. If we think Alan is not good enough lets scrutinise other potentials.

These so called elders including Nana Addo underestimated these youth and the brain power they have , maybe its time to give way and allow some of these unknown worthy men /women to come forward and lead. we know many of the youth today have been brainwashed by the NDC propaganda into stupidity so do not see the truth. have you ever asked yourself why is it that when they hear the call WE AKANS they go into a stupefied frenzy of hate ? why is it that Akans are now very cautious of even saying who they are and where they are from , why is it that its only the Akans who believed in the melting pot of Ghana and disregarded their diversities . why is it that today in the ministries most traumatized Akans especially the Fantis and Nzemas will only speak Ga or English yet ewes , northerners and others can freely converse in their mother tongue ? Talk about aggressive tribalism and where its coming from , why is this govt and their minority groups continuously trying to marginalize the Akans and undermine every effort at development since the time of Kotoka . Yes its all about the worst kind of tribalism , hegemony , chauvinism , buga buga , propaganda lies and destructive corruption. We must fight even though we shall be branded mad men , cocaine dealers , drug barons and any other personality or character assassination they can think of . We must not allow them to break our spirit with this deliberate agenda to create poverty , divide and rule , no law or justice for the Akan . We must like it or not seriously consider seceding and forming our own state without these Ewes , Northerners and Gas as that way we leave a legacy and better future for our children . As for swing regions that can always be worked on. If all camps pull together, they can turn round the party's fortunes in 2016. It can be done. What Nana Addo needs is a good strategist, Ed Milliban the labour party opposition leader in the UK has recently appointed David Axelrod who was Obama's campaing strategist to help him strategise for the next general election in the UK.

I've said this before, a good leader need not be a jack of all trades, what is important is the quality of the people he appoints to lead his campaing strategy and when he wins ensure that he appoints the right calibre of people to turn his vision into reality.

Nana Addo has managed to convert the NPP, into a CPP type hero-worship cult where Nkrumah/Nana Addo "never dies", to the chargrin of most well-meaning democrats. The same tactics that the ailing Atta-Mills used to take over the NDC is playing out right before our eyes, Asomdwee Hene, Prof does no wrong, No Prof. No Vote. A leader in decline is a sure recipe for corruption and ineptitude because non elected friends and family and sycophants take over. Hear Gabby, hear Amoaku Tuffour (Aliu Mahama's campaign manager), hear Boakye Agyarko (himself a candidate who stood against Nana), shouting themselves hoarse to prove their loyalty. In proper Journalism, the first thing you do is check the source: i.e. who has put the story out and through which channel. Alan Kyerematen has a spokesperson, Nana Ohene Ntow. There has been no announcement from him, neither has Alan mentioned it anyway. No one knows of a "fund raising team" let alone its members. Finally, no one has every heard of Nana Kwasi Bosiako as an NPP person either here in Ghana or in UK.

The news broke out on whatsapp where after it circulated from address to address it is untraceable to its source. So then why will any credible news media pick it up and publish it without confirmation from Nana Ohene Ntow. Simply, politicians in a particular NPP Camp do not take Ghanaians serious, they do not think the media is wise or professional enough to distinguish between propaganda from newsworthy news. Or at worst, bribable enough to push every preposterous news down their throat or biro pen.

This is not an affirmative statement but it's also possible that Alan may withdraw for strategic reasons.First of all,Alan is not sure to beat Nana Addo in the primaries so it will be difficult for him to dream of beating NDC in 2016.Secondly,if Nana loses this time then Alan is sure of taking over the mantle so easily.Sorry to say,if that is the plan of Alan then he is really immatured politician.The problem could also be that Alan is afraid to challenge an incumbent president because they hardly lose their second mandate.It will be a wise decision for Alan to face a new NDC candidate in 2020 when Nana Addo will then be retired.There could also be a deal between Nana Addo and Alan for the running mate. However,NPP has no choice but to elect a very strategic and better candidate who can beat NDC in 2016. Mahama has beaten Nana Addo twice and I don't see how the results will change.I think Joe Ghartey can unhorse Mahama very easily because of his strategic position.Joe Ghartey can neutralise the NDC's winning strategy in the Western, Central and Greater Accra regions.This is the only effective strategy to beat NDC.Nana Addo's has performed very poorly in the swing regions,his campaign strategy has not been effective so far.If it comes to political strategy,I think Joe Ghartey stands a better chance to beat any NDC presidential candidate than Nana Addo.Thank you.

They were just waiting for you, to show you where real sense and power lie.
