These are persons whose only occupation has been in public office and if they can dole out such huge sums, they must have plundered the state.

In the developed countries the IRS would have immediately checked their tax status to see if such amounts could have been from their income after tax. But in ghana, if the GRA were to embark on this, it is the ordinary citizen who would mobilised against the authorities. These corrupt persons would accused the tax authorities of doing the government's bidding.

It is sad that we protect thieves and expect the economy to proposer. The unemployed youth who would get jobs if the economy improves are the ones the corrupt public officials will use to fight against the authorities who attempt to question them.

I think ghanaians deserve to suffer worse than this.

It is C4.25 billion (old cedis) not GHC4.3 billion (new cedis). In the New cedis it is GHC 435,000. This is not state funds. If it is let us know. NDC has stolen 27 billion new cedis or 9 billion United states dollars!

Ghanaians must be wary of the huge demand from the NPP'S flagbearer fees. In my opinion, where will they get that sum to stand as flagbearer of their party, and what happens to those who loose in their voting proccess? The money is not refundable, meaning the paid fees will be used to campaign for the winner to contest in the presidential elections in 2016. The winner, will then have to repay the loosers of their flagbearer contest in case they are elected to power. This is exactly where CORRUPTION comes in. Money meant for projects will then be diverted to private pockets. Ghanaians must discard the NPP if they really want to better their lives and live happily.
