This juju man called idiot J.J. Rawlings is too evil to be seen as human being. While Rawlings and his family are stealing and looting from state treasury, he calls others corrupt. How does this idiot think?

Are the political adventurism of Rawlings such a complex subject to write about, Maiga? A murderer like Rawlings can easily be discussed by even a JSS graduate.

Yes, I am not a Rawlings fan but can say here without fear that the 1979 coup was an absolute necessity. But after "cleaning the Augean Stable" in 1979 and leaving the stage when ovation was at its height, Rawlings made a very unpardonable mistake by coming back in 1981. That was his undoing. The hero has now become a villain through his own miscalculation.

I'm not a Rawlings admirer either. You make a very poignant observation and I agree whole heartedly to it. After handing over to the democratically elected Liman administration in 1980, Rawlings committed political suicide with a comeback in 1982. Truth be told, JJ's first coming was inspired by a genuine compassionate love for his fellowmen and was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice if that would transform the misery and distressing state of the economy into buoyancy and development and free his compatriots of the needless suffering. His fateful second coming was engineered and conspired by self-centered tribal bigots whose devilish hegemonist agenda was not in the national interest. Although Rawlings tribal affiliation was Ewe/Anlo he was a de-tribalized all ghanaian who knew no tribal boundaries and socialized freely with other ghanaians freed from tribal bigotry. The free spirit, Rawlings fell to the manipulations of men like Kofi Awonoor Williams and the rest is history. With his soaring popularity and selfless nature he could easily have become the Eisenhower of Ghana and Africa. With bigotry and the talks of changing the tribal hegemony getting into the mix Rawlings lost his momentum and opportunity to immortalize his name. He's retired but not really retired because he knows he allowed himself to be misled into a trap and messed up big time .

i could not think of a better-suited title for your exhaustive and mind stimulating treatment of topical subject.
Not being particularly informed in the political sciences in order to leave any adequate intellectual comment under this article, i will rather attempt a somewhat basic observation here.
I will deliberately consider the title strictly as a "question", and attempt a 'yes' or 'no' answer to it. It may be helpfull to consider two factor as they pertained before Rawling's involvement and after his active involvement. These are Democratic governance and Prudent Economic Management.
Almost all accounts suggest that in 1979, Rawlings intercepted what was an undemocratic system of rule and helped institute a Democracy. In this contest , by this act only and at this point, he was not yet hoist by His own petard. so the answer is 'no'.
secondly with regard to 1981 and 1992, he intersected a democracy and left behind a democracy, so overall the answer is 'no' he is clearly not hoist yet in the contest of instituting democratic governance, in other he did not end up perpetuating the same dictatorship he sought to correct originally.
some questions however arise,
* is democracy itself an end or was is expected to be a means to an end, which is Prudent Economic Management?
*in other words, what if a democracy exists but does not show any signs of leading to prudent economic management and therefore economic growth?.
*or better still is democracy a sure guarantee for economic growth? even if it is characterized by Mis-management or even amateur management.
in this contest, Rawlings set up another petard, by intercepting what he might have perceived as mis-managemet in 1981 probaly in order to ensure prudent management. it was at this juncture that he was almost hoist. As the Macro and micro-economic parameters suggested he might have only supervised at best some amateur management. yet again he probably may not have left behind same mis-mangement which he sought to rectify, but some form of effort at management howbeit amateur. but at least he steered clear and gave way others the chance to, it is the successive governments led by Mr kuffour, Mr Atta-mills and Mr Mahama and therefore ghanains in general as a people that are experiencing various degrees of the hoisting in their lives.
looking at it in totality therefore, and from my probably over-simplistic point of view yes Rawlings sought to establish democracy and is Ghana now set upon adequate footing to pursue vigorous socio-economic advancement? we are all responsible as ghanains!!!
Having said that, these matters of a peoples history could be best studied and dealt with historically. I mean we learn good lessons that should equip us to forge ahead.
Those calling him juju man and thief appear to be the ones experiencing the severest effects of the petard's hoist!!!....
