How can an aspirant Presidential candidate Odike organise to take the law into his own hands and have a citizen beaten and arrogantly defend such unspeakable act?
Is Ghana a lawless place?

You had no luck that anyone was stupid enough to take your trollish bait the first time (16:36),
so you thought you'd come back half an hour later to drool some more archaic venom of primitive racist tribalism,
just in case someone would be foolish enough to answer you on your own level this time.
But I can tell you, your simpleton plan has gotten foiled, because this time you've got a beasty beyond your match on the hook.
It are the frequent creepy, hate-mongering, peace-hating, generalising, unfathomably shallow, oppressively narrow-minded and single-sided comments such as yours that show me, who I am from Germany/England, born and raised, just how backwards large parts of Ghanaian mind-sets still are.
It could be quite frightening, if I were easy to be frightened. But then I wouldn't voluntarily live in Ghana as agric and environmental engineer, wouldn't I?
Have a splendid evening and maybe simmer a bit in your own obnoxious stew, until it might get sickening enough for yourself, that you may reconsider about that festering tribalistic infestation of yours.
BTW, you were quite right in your first allusion, that it still seems to be quite a common trait in Ghanaian poltics to take things so overtly violently seriously, and just as the tribalism from you it greatly shows the dangers of such simpleton black/white- - friend/foe- thinking.

Oh Beautiful Ghana!!!.... Where did you go wrong to deserve such fools who want to rule you by hook or crook?
Every single political party worth its salt is fighting amongst it rank and file. They can't even agree wth themselves so how do they plan to work hand-in-hand with the opposition parties if they win the elections? Ghana needs cooperation between both the governing and all other parties in opposition to resolve the herculian problems facing her. Just one party can't do it all on its own.
If we say the country's governance is going to be fashioned along the lines of democracy, then why don't we learn it well from the people who created it?....... the western world. They have made it into an art form such that except in a few cases where there have been disagreements between parties, they always agree on a lot of the issues that are in the best interest of their individual countries. There's no one indivudual always trying to upstage the other.
That is why their economies are always on the up and up with minimal upheavals.
There is nothing like "DUMSOR DUMSOR" in such countries even though they have the most extremes of weather patterns as compared to that of Ghana. So their industries run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
They don't have a yearly floods that devastate their capital cities even with those extreme weather patterns because they learn from previous experience and put into place actions that will prevent such things from happening again or to minimize the effects of such natural disasters happen.
Their drainage systems are always being improved upon to take care of any new settlements or sub-divisions being added to the city or municipality.
All these things become possible because all politicians work together for those achievements. They agree on good and effective taxation system that benefits the country and not individual pockets or personal offshore accounts.
So if we are not going to govern strictly by the rules of democracy to enjoy its supposed benefits, we might as well have a military government to force things down our throats and get things done. Short of having the military back in power, the next best thing will be to bring the British colonizers back because we can't seem to be able to do anything right in terms of governace or managing our own affairs effectively. 57 years after independence and we are still floundering!!!!
The politicians should stop behaving like selfish asses and work with each other to govern the nation.
The country is bigger than one individual. Ghana is for all Ghanaians so if you have been given the privilege to govern, do that judiciously in the interest of the people who voted for you, with Ghana's welfare in the forefront of all your political dealings.
No bribery and corruption to tarnish your good name and that of Mother Ghana's.
GOD HELP GHANA!!!!!

If they think this is politics, let them take it to the boxing ring.
That's the place were ruthless numbskull power-mongers might be best kept (as professional boxers have to be a) ruthless b) power-obsessed and c) they will get numb-skulled, because it has been shown on evident scientific basis that boxing and similar careers with repeated blows to the head (e.g.American football, MMA etc.) lead to brain-shrinkage, brain-embolisms, debility etc.). So actually, the latter was a joke, they should just be voted out; while boxing etc. should be forbidden (Because the public has to pay dearly for the old-age care of these "athletes" and for many more subtle reasons (cultural, psychological, spiritual)).
