As long as we tap into the resources of both the diaspora and home i am confident there is no problem we cant fix or sustainable solution we can not implement to give our people a better standard and future . Omanhene kwasea pepeni Mahama in his small-mindedness, tribalism saturated with mistrust and hate for the Akans fueled by the ayigbe treachery has appointed incompetent fools who would collapse any economy be it the USA , Germany , Japan or Canada . In fact the caliber of his favorites are so weak i doubt they could manage even a roadside chop bar for week successfully talk less an economy of 25 million strong. NDC's experiment with leadership from the north will cost them dearly as Ghanians will never again trust a northerner no matter which party fields them and they will be lucky if the party doesnt totally disintegrate into nothingness . The basic principle of democracy is to enable the active participation of the majority thus tapping into the potentials of the majority and secures the unity and progress of the people , pepeni has deviously managed to sideline the influence of the Akans and the majority of all Ghanians so is in effect and illegitimate govt that's only focused on robbing and stealing , to hell with everything else as he simply doesn't care about what he knows doesn't belong to him . He is a traitor and no indemnity clause should save him from his reckless selfishness and corruption but should be made to answer and be punished adequately either through the courts or lynching him in the streets. yes its time for a bloody uprising or war to rid us of this menace forever . His ministers are not only stupid but retarded so must also be hung from the highest tree tops for not resigning when they knew they could not perform or had no plans . Their families and children should also be bdeaten up for enjoying while the rest of the nation suffered . We all know that there is no way pepeni will see the end of his mandate without a serious conflict or peacefully talk less of even attempting a de facto third term. one thing we now all know is that the ayigbe and pepefuo have a set of values and mindset which is incompatible with the rest of us and its a mistake to remain in the same country with them so we should split the country either peacefully through negotiations or with a war whichever comes first .

I blame squarely those politicians, including the late President Mills, who for some weird reason have preferred chosing Northerns as running mates. What strongly positive qualities have they found in the Northerners that attract them as running mates?

It seems to me that while they think they can win the Northern voites to become president as a result of having Northerner running mates, they've not really thought it possible that these running mates can actually succeed them as president. President Kufuor demonstrated that by bypassing his vice Aliu Mahama when he was leaving the presidency. And Mills never thought he'd die in office and John Mahama would succeed him.

And see what President Mahama has done and continues to do, having surrounded himself with inexperienced Northerners to run the country, as if the NDC belongs solely and exclusively to the three regions in northern Ghana.

So far, these people, including the President himself, have demonstrated that they're ignorant, inexpereinced and have no clue as to how to run the country.

How shameful that the President and his Minister of Trade would appeal to the European Union (EU) and the United States to assist Ghana to solve its economic problems! What about the numerous Ghanaians who hold Ph.D. degrees in economics? Why has the President ignored them all and their expertise?

Only the ignorant would think that the EU and America are sincerely interested in seeing any Third World country, especially an African country, to become economically independent, to be able to control its own natural resources so that it'd begin to dictate to Europeans and Americans in terms of fixing their own commodity prices.

Mahama and Haruna Iddrisu have disgraced Ghanaians and Africans by their plea to the EU and the Americans. For they're in fact asking them to physically take over the country again, to colonise us once again. Already, Ghana is to some extent still colonised by the activities and policies of the World Bank and the IMF. So long as Ghana continues to rely upon these Breton Woods institutions for our economic slavation, the country would never be free.

For how long is Ghana going to look up to them in this regard? Since the Americans rushed into Ghana after their CIA had overthrown President Nkrumah and brought in the IMF and the World Bank to "save" it, with all their conditionalities, including the demand that Ghana devalue its currency, which it immediately did, has anything good happened to Ghana economically as a result of the fulfilment of those conditionalities? Has Ghana's economic problems not rather mounted since then?

Mahama and his people don't seem to understand that. How unfortunate for Ghana! What a shame!

He was told, cautioned and the negative effect of his indifference was drawn to his attention but he actually chose to let it continue. He seems to be taking some action especially having got one or two cabinet guys who are no nonsense types and who cannot be cajoled into handing out state monies and contracts like ‘abodo’. Still his actions are still too slow. I guess that at some point he will know who are the odd ones and once he becomes aware, they will be fired ultimately.

The problem is never Mahama even though he is neither Nkrumah nor Rawlings. For Mahama to succeed, he must align with Rawlings. It is not as if to say that Rawlings should be making policies from the backyard but there is no doubt that Mahama will be fully himself if he has Rawllings behind him. These useless people destroying Mahama will all run as soon as Mahama is with Rawllings. Besides, Rawling’s appeal and influence is heavily broad based spreading across all tribal segments of the country. A little deal with Rawlings to keep his wife away from politics is all that is needed for Mahama to fully show his mettle. Unfortunately this alliance had been little respected and so far remained latent.

This was glaring yet all of them were thinking about the appointments they were going to get from him and thereby lost the opportunity shoot that problem down before it manifest
