Wont the low disposable incomes emanating from high cost of living and the consequence of a low propensity to save be the cause instead of financial illiteracy?If the market women,who have not had the benefit of classroom education,can save with the Susu company,they cannot be said to be financially illiterate.
Good paying jobs,true entrepreneurial programs for private business ownership and low inflation will do the trick.
