Ghana do not need a National development Plan.Ghana is not a one party state or union government to adapt such plan.Ghana constitution provide a provision of contiunity of projects. When Kufour came to power he continue all work initiated by Rawlings and when Mills came to power he abandon all projects initiated by Kufour.Mahama came and follow both rawlings and Mills footsteps abandon all projects initiated by their predecessors. If Ghanaians may recall former Minister of education Mr Lee ockran said he will put all new project under his jurisdiction on hold and complete all past governments projects that has been abandon before tackle new ones and Mahama dismiss him.All political parties manifestoes make provisions for contruct roads, water, schools, power, create jobs, telecommunication, agriculture, railway and development and the only difference is that each political party has it own agenda and how to approach and prove answers to solve and initiated. The calling for national development plan make no sense. This is a damn idea.
