  Do you know the source of the Plant Breeders' Bill? The bill came from plant breeders in Ghana. And if it would affect them negatively, they would have protested against it.

  Even musicians have copyrights and patents for their songs. Plants breeders too must given exclusive protective rights over their innovations.
  
  Nobody forces any GM crop on anybody. When the seeds are on the market, choose to buy them or not.
  
  These protesters are some farmers from some part of Northern Region. They do not represent peasant farmers from Northern Ghana as they claim to be. Just some few weeks back, cotton farmers in the Upper West Region protested against the delay in the introduction of Bt Cotton in Ghana. Is Bt cotton not a GMO?

  The exploitation of ignorance with propaganda does not make GMO's any safer...Where nature has provided food for free ...why on earth would you choose slavery under the heel of a foreign corporation instead?

The missing point in this article is that accepting mutated food products INTO OUR DIET also amounts to re-colonization of the gut with rogue, xenobiotic, damaged and dysfunctional bacteria.
