  Dr Baafi I disagree with you that EPA will enable Ghanain companies to export finished goods. If we can export finished goods why are we not producing them in the first place untill the signing of EPA? Dr Baafi do you know that Ghana Maganese is still exported in its raw state? and why? Does it need EPA before we process it in Ghana? aba. Dr Baafi who told you that europeans will buy ghana tomatoes instead of that which is from their countries? Even banana from Jamaica is discriminated in europe. I think we need to sit down as a country and starts to develope our own this and consume our own things. EPA will collapse local industries period and it will make us lazy us a nation.

  Dear Dr Baafi i hope it will be better to advise your european counterpart to first go home to advise their citizens to stop throwing bananas to we africans before they throw our EPA product away.

  This doctor does not know what he is talking about. The EU is using every trick in the book to force these ill-informed "leaders" to accept this economically suicidal pact. One does not have to do an in-depth review of the contents of the EPA to realize that only a lazy mind will advocate the signing of the pact.
  
  There are alternatives. AGOA can absorb the produce that will be left out of the EU markets as a result of not signing the EPA. The export goods are not a surplus; they are part of what makes the world balanced. If they are left out of the EU markets, the EU will have to get them from somewhere. And from my statement earlier, that will create other market opportunities for Ghana's goods. Use your brains and find out what makes the financial markets tick. Quit being lazy. Let your blood flow upwards. It looks like the blood of those making this EPA decision flows mostly downward.
  
  The traditional leaders and the clergy should spearhead street demonstrations to put some sense in the decision makers. Rejecting the EPA will be the most significant achievement of the modern Ghanaian leadership. Do the right thing.
