The king should not always sit down and look up to Accra to come to its aid,although the Ashanti region is one of the richest in Ghana.It is about time residents of cities and towns elect their own mayors,DCE etc as done in most parts of the develop world.Imposing someone on the city because of a party card is outmoded.The city in conjuction with the Asanteman council should come with a plan to transform the city with drainage,streets,etc so that whoever assumes the office of the mayor, will have to follow,irrespective of the party he belongs or not.People are suffering and this is the wrong time to celebrate with Gold and showmanship.It will not bring food on the table.King Solomom of Israel ruled so well that there was abundance for its citizens.The queen of sheba was so astonished to see the glory and majesty of solomon after he has heard so much of his kingdom.So cheap should people not compare personalities,but should read well and dig into the history books of humanity.
