THEN LIST THE COMAPNY ON THE GSX, NYSX. IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT TREATING THIS A S A FOR PROFIT ENTITY, U WILL GET INVESTORS READY TO PUT THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY IN THIS VENTURE. THEN AGAIN, MOST VENTURES INVOLVING BLACKS ARE A JOKE. WITH NDC BEHIND THIS, ITS EVEN MORE OF A JOKE!

National Carrier? Most National Airlines are a drain on the public purse, even in jurisdictions that are corruption-free! In our part of the globe where it appears things cannot operate very smoothly without the usual 'external influences',the losses will not take too long a time to mount. And the commonplace embarrassment associated with aircraft seizures, will certainly keep the passengers away! There is nothing new about this, and I would rather we put our scarce resources into improving our rail network system,so as to take some of the pressure off our roads.

I think if the domestic and regional airlines are given strong support, they could team up with some of the international carriers in a positive way. I think strong local and West African regional airlines will rather be the best bet for Ghana. No need to for the international routes again. Ghanaians travel but do are not big spenders on airfare so profit is tough.

please don't waste our meager resources. we don't need any national airline. the money can be used to establish factories eg cement, cocoa processing, leather, paper , glass, tyre factory etc.if someone wants to travel outside, there are a lot of airlines available. the situation where staff of the airline were given free tickets leading to indebtedness of former Ghana air is still a possibility.it does not make sense at all. i hope the advisors of the government will listen. Dr. Nii Moi, the ball is in your court.don't sit down and later come and say that you were not aware.

Gov should not be involved. Leave this for the private sector. Gov should rather make laws that will allow Ghanaian's to make profit in this sector while they pay takes to the Gov.

I bet the same old crooks that collapsed Ghana Airways with amateur and corrupt equipment selections-(we lost our category-1 status due to our incompetence and amateurism); funding (e.g. (a)Asaga negotiated Rawlings' $7 mil. plane that ended up costing us over $25 mil; (b)VP Mahama's OVER PRICED Embraer 190 purchase; etc.
This is just another avenue to loot our coffers.

GHANA'S early hopes were dashed by exclusionary politics, poor economic management and corruption, which created and perpetuated political instability.
ARE WE GOING TO LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES AND FIX THEM OR ARE WE GOING TO BLINDLY LOOK AWAY N CONTINUE TO WALLOW IN MEDIOCRITY?

Government should first of all settle the debts owed to passengers of GIA before thinking of a new airline. It will fail
