the problem with this northern mentality is that thanks to jj they now all have an unquenchable thirst for power but never to serve in a team or accept their fellow countrymen . just look around in Accra and study the majority of the businesses owned by these northerners and in the majority of the medium and Small sized businesses you notice they only employ their fellow northerners and practically never employ an Akan . Today in Accra the largest religious building in the country will be the mosque being build on our national park at Nima donated by Turkey confirming the Islamic domination of Ghana. Tribalism mixed with chauvinism and despotism from the north has now equaled the hegemony of the ewes . A.C.C.R.A any criminal can roam about so we have them everywhere now . even at the scholarship secretariat hardly ever is an Akan awarded the privilege to go abroad and study now . The Akans are the majority but because most continue to sleep or blindly trust the other tribes these atrocities are taking place . We look at the political strategy of the NDC and see the typical Hannibal wench when he turned the strengths of the mighty Roman army against themselves as they are doing to the Akans . From the south they use part of the Fantis and from the North the Brongs , from behind we have the chariot onslaught of the Gas Ewes Krobos. Yes the political landscape reflects a war which is only meant to destroy the right of self governance of the God's chosen nation of Africa the Akan . For them its a big deal who leads the NPP but we really don't care as our movement grows stronger by the hour as more and more Akans wake up to reality of this dire situation . We did not ask for this war but we will fight it and be victorious as God is with us . Long live the Republic of Akan

Nobody can hide the light and true destiny of the great nation of Akan. they use all kinds of schemes and tricks to undermine or deny a proper standard to us but we shall never surrender. we shall change and adapt as like the Israelis we are the chosen people of God and he in his great design has made us diverse but unified in spirit. the ashantis like the tribe of Judah are and will remain an integral part of our being to to attack any one part we all end up feeling it sooner or later. they have succeed in turning some of our chiefs and kings against us and work for their evil ungodly agenda but we still see clearly . God has brought us into the 21st century and with that a new system of governance and state of mind based on democracy since it is HE alone who blesses the individuals with the gift of leadership wisdom and justice irrespective of status at birth. he has shown us the blue print of the way forward in the bible and other holy books and the time has come to free ourselves from this man made bondage called Ghana. just as in the Ukraine we must fight so the truth will come out , fear not the battle as they will crumble like the walls of Jericho . cast away our so called fake leaders and politicians who are nothing but cowards and like our enemies fear even their own shadows . yes God has put a million fears in their empty bodies as he who does not fear the Lord , the Lord will ensure all fears of the world will reside in him. They threaten us with superstition , juju and what have you and we say fuck you and go to hell as the divine power is with us . Yes all the tribes of Akan are fingers on the same hands and God has ordained we remain united so our strength and light will be visible throughout the whole world and universe , our time has come . everyday its becoming clearer and clearer to all children of Akan that we must prepare mentally for a battle of freedom . they come with tricks that say we must take a non Akan as our leader because its nice ? do they not think that out of 30 million Akans we can not find sensible down to earth leaders and warriors to lead our own people to our own destiny? a govt of the people and by the people is what the 21st century democracy is all about . let them continue to play with the consensus and other figures that justify their fantasy and enable them to marginalize the participation of the Akan majority in the Affairs of their own land , to marginalize us thus preventing us to afford a better standard for our people . The had of God has given them pestilence after pestilence but they refuse to let our people go , soon they will be swept away like chaff in the hurricane of fury . Long live the republic of Akan and don't you forget it as now the Fanti speakers, Twi speakers, Ashantis and other tribes of Akan are now one .

That is a cautious suggestion. That will enable Ghana to recover all monies owed to the Government.
Borrowing money by all means to meet the cost of infrastructure is not always a virtue.
Handing over to IMF control is too expensive for the people of Ghana.
The Government must do dramatic internal review of income and expenditure and live within our means.
That alternative internal review is better than going to the IMF.
The TUC must suggest alternative solutions to Government and the people of Ghana.
Merely to say the IMF route is a mistake is a negative approach of the TUC.

I totally agree with abstaining from any borrowing from the IMF and would argue that it is best to raise some help from within the country. People have funds invested with investment companies within the country and some of this can be sourced by the government through the BOG. We also need to encourage farming on a local and commercial level to ensure that we can at least feed ourselves and reduce the over dependence on imported foods. Drastic measures like placing a ceiling on MPs salaries should be implemented and the lavish life style through corruption etc, curbed and punishments meted out. There has to be accountability for everything from motor riders escorting officials at every whim to maintaining state owned vehicles so we are not importing at every change of government.

It is always wrong to blame President Mahama or any President for the current bad economic situation unfolding in Ghana today. Indeed, people need to go in to agriculture when they realize that they cannot find work in Accra, which is where almost all school leavers go to in search for jobs. Let us all be realistic about our future. Not everybody will become a Chief/King or Queen, rather only one person at the right time.

They tell us to hand critical contract and privatize a whole gamut of state enterprises and we do it. They tell us to hand control of money making enterprises to foreigners and we follow. We follow instructions to transfer ownership of critical sectors of the land back to foreigners and their local agents

Confessions of an Economic Hit Man is a book written by John Perkins and published in 2004. It provides Perkins' account of his career with consulting firm Chas. T. Main in Boston. Before employment with the firm, he interviewed for a job with the National Security Agency (NSA). Perkins claims that this interview effectively constituted an independent screening which led to his subsequent hiring by Einar Greve,[1] a member of the firm (and alleged NSA liaison) to become a self-described "economic hit man".

According to Perkins, he began writing Confessions of an Economic Hit Man in the 1980s, but "threats or bribes always convinced [him] to stop."
According to his book, Perkins' function was to convince the political and financial leadership of underdeveloped countries to accept enormous development loans from institutions like the World Bank and USAID. Saddled with debts they could not hope to pay, those countries were forced to acquiesce to political pressure from the United States on a variety of issues. Perkins argues in his book that developing nations were effectively neutralized politically, had their wealth gaps driven wider and economies crippled in the long run. In this capacity Perkins recounts his meetings with some prominent individuals, including Graham Greene and Omar Torrijos. Perkins describes the role of an EHM as follows:
Economic hit men (EHMs) are highly paid professionals who cheat countries around the globe out of trillions of dollars. They funnel money from the World Bank, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and other foreign "aid" organizations into the coffers of huge corporations and the pockets of a few wealthy families who control the planet's natural resources. Their tools included fraudulent financial reports, rigged elections, payoffs, extortion, sex, and murder. They play a game as old as empire, but one that has taken on new and terrifying dimensions during this time of globalization.
The epilogue to the 2006 edition provides a rebuttal to the current move by the G8 nations to forgive Third World debt. Perkins charges that the proposed conditions for this debt forgiveness require countries to privatise their health, education, electric, water and other public services. Those countries would also have to discontinue subsidies and trade restrictions that support local business, but accept the continued subsidization of certain G8 businesses by the US and other G8 countries, and the erection of trade barriers on imports that threaten G8 industries.
In the book, Perkins repeatedly denies the existence of a "conspiracy." Instead, Perkins carefully discusses the role of corporatocracy.[2] – November 4, 2004 interview
I was initially recruited while I was in business school back in the late sixties by the National Security Agency, the nation’s largest and least understood spy organization; but ultimately I worked for private corporations. The first real economic hit man was back in the early 1950s, Kermit Roosevelt, Jr., the grandson of Teddy, who overthrew the government of Iran, a democratically elected government, Mossadegh’s government who was Time‘s magazine person of the year; and he was so successful at doing this without any bloodshed—well, there was a little bloodshed, but no military intervention, just spending millions of dollars and replaced Mossadegh with the Shah of Iran. At that point, we understood that this idea of economic hit man was an extremely good one. We didn’t have to worry about the threat of war with Russia when we did it this way. The problem with that was that Roosevelt was a C.I.A. agent. He was a government employee. Had he been caught, we would have been in a lot of trouble. It would have been very embarrassing. So, at that point, the decision was made to use organizations like the C.I.A. and the N.S.A. to recruit potential economic hit men like me and then send us to work for private consulting companies, engineering firms, construction companies, so that if we were caught, there would be no connection with the government.

OPEN LETTER TO H.E.PRESIDENT OF GHANA JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA:
DEAR H.E.PRESIDENT OF GHANA JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA,
THIS IS TO RESPECTFULLY REFER TO THE ABOVE RELATED SUBJECT-MATTER WHICH IS/WAS THE SECRETARY GENERAL OF TUC KOFI ASAMOAH ADVISORY OPINION RENDERED TO H.E.PRESIDENT JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA THAT "GOING FOR IMF BAILOUT WILL BE ANOTHER MISTAKE AS TUC WARNS MAHAMA" THOUGH GHANA NEEDS A POWERFUL NEGOTIATIONS VOICE WITH IMF TO HELP PROTECT THE BEST INTEREST OF GHANA, I RESPECTFULLY DISAGREED WITH THE TUC SECRETARY GENERAL ASSERTION.
THAT GHANA CAN EXPLORE IMF BAILOUT OPPORTUNITIES IN ADDITION TO GHANA'S FRIENDS AND ALLIES TO CONSIDER BAILING OUT GHANA FROM HER CURRENT ECONOMIC DIFFICULTIES.
THAT THE ONLY ONE THING GHANA NEEDS IS A STRONG AND POWER VOICE AND NEGOTIATOR, THERETO.
THAT IF HISTORY WORTH ANYTHING OF SUBSTANCE TO RECALL THEN I AM RESPECTFULLY RECALLING THE EARLY STAGES OF TEETHING PROBLEMS OF THE THEN PNDC GOVERNMENT DURING THE EARLY FORMATIVE STAGES OF 1982-1983 WHEN THE THEN PNDC GOVERNMENT DECIDED TO GO TO THE IMF AND THE WORLD BANK THAT DREW SHARP DIVISION WITHIN THE RANKS OF THE PNDC HIERARCHY ITSELF AND IT DOES NOT SUFFICE TO BRUSH ASIDE THE "JUNE 19TH" INCIDENT THAT MADE THE THEN CHAIRMAN OF THE PNDC FLT.LT.JERRY JOHN RAWLINGS TO PURGE THE PNDC AND ALSO REFORMED THE PDC'S.
THAT LED TO THE FIRST EVER STRUCTURAL ADJUSTMENTS POLICIES IN 1983 IN THE SUB-SAHARAN REGION.
IT WAS ALSO AT THAT TIME IN HIS EXCELLENCY MAIDEN NATIONAL BROADCAST TO THE NATION THAT EMERGED "POPULAR NONSENSE TO GIVE WAY TO SCIENTIFIC AND CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISMS THAT LED TO GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT".
THAT GHANA DID GO TO IMF AND WORLD BANK AND UNDERTOOK THE RESTRUCTURING OF THE ECONOMY FROM CENTRALIZED DEPENDED PLANNING ECONOMY TO FREE MARKET ECONOMY.
THEREFORE GHANA HAS LESSONS TO LEARN AND TO MAKE THE NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS AS MITIGATING FACTORS TO CUSHION THE EFFECTS OF ANY FALL OUTS.
THAT WHAT GHANA NEEDS ARE THOSE WHO HAVE THE ADEQUATE KNOWLEDGE, EXPERTISE, COMMITMENTS, DEDICATIONS AND ABOVE ALL STRONG VOICE THAT CAN MAKE A STRONG CASE FOR GHANA.
THAT THOSE CALLING FOR MORE MONEY BUT COULD NOT PROVIDE THE MEANS TO LET THOSE WHO TOGETHER CAN TO BRING THOSE PERSONS ON BOARD AND ALSO THEY SHOULD GIVE WAY TO THE MONEY THE WORLD BANK DULY DONATED TO ME (BENONY TONY AMEKUDZI,ESQ} OF $850,000.00 FOR POVERTY REDUCTIONS.
THAT THERE IS ALSO NO TIME TO WASTE AND H.E.PRESIDENT OF GHANA JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA TO CONSIDER TO ACT NOW.
THAT THEY DO NOT NEED IMF AND WORLD BANK BAILOUT AND I NEED THE BAILOUT BECAUSE I AM STILL SUFFERING.
RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED.
GOD BLESS GHANA, IMF/WORLD BANK AND AMERICA.
VERY TRULY YOURS,
BENONY TONY AMEKUDZI
