This minimum wage is very low! What was the benchmark for that? TUC has failed workers. Government is not concern about workers by proposing 5 percent COLA.

that is such a shame that we still continue to prescribe wages that make our people slaves . at a little more than a dollar a day how can we expect any self esteem as the basic human rights of for example the right to a meaningful sustainable job or employment is denied , the right to home can never be afforded and the right to raise a family is impossible as children today are a question of standard . if you can fix these problems step down immediately as the solutions are there

Mahama and his bunch of incompetent administration have cave-in to this TUC nonsense of Salary and Wages increase which is benefitting approximately 700,000 do nothing civil servants and their families at the expense of the tax payer in these hard times when everybody is suffering.

Assuming the government come shortly hiking utility bills and other unnecessary taxes, what will be the pride of the poor folks who are not going to enjoy this out of sense salary increase in this economic mess-up time? The poor folks should continue tight their belts at the expense of these few people? This out of sense wage increase at this time is going to ballooned the deficit where by the unborn babies will come and suffer for our misdeeds. This madness of both the government and the TUC should be stopped right away. e&oe.
