corruption and fascist tribalism of the ewes and northerners have totally weakened all institutions of state . its only a matter of time when the people get fed up and an uprising occurs . its a shame despite the wealth of natural resources and the collective potential of the people we are still underdeveloped , neglected and a roller-coaster to misery . since the days of pharaoh we see those who are power drunk unable to feel the true reality of the pain and suffering around them and will surely end up like Ceausescu , Gaddafi , Saddam and Charles Taylor. today we have a govt saturated with mistrust , incompetence and selfishness . they have siphoned out so much foreign exchange that the cedi has practically almost crashed , they encourage foreigners like the Chinese to come and steal not pay taxes or obey the law to ensure further poverty of our people . in fact they are only attracted to agreements that further cement the destruction of our economy like this EPA .people still hope this mafia ndc will change and turn things around but we know we shall only have a miserable bleak future and nothing else. the caliber of govt appointees today is on the level that i wouldn't even give them a road side chop bar to manage yet through murder and rigging somehow they are in the highest offices of the land just because they are northerners or ewes . God is with us and will surely punish them

This Fortiz/Merchant bank deal deal from all indications is putrid, it stinks to the high heavens and nothing can justify such an atrocious deal, when Ghanaian taxpayers, from all indications are not getting any VALUE FOR MONEY in this stinking deal. Omane Boamah, MD should seek to explain why an equity firm which cannot even boast of the asset base to even acquire a non-financial banking license, should be made to take on this onerous task of not even a merger, but a full complete acquisition of Merchant bank, when Ghanaian taxpayers, have been offered far, far better VALUE FOR MONEY propositions from identifiable bodies with a portfolio of assets eclipsing over 100 billion dollars? It is indeed mindboggling the level of impunity and recklessness which has been unleashed on the affairs on governance by this NDC gov't. Ghana indeed deserves better than this recklessness which is permeating all facets of governance in this country. It's awfully pathetic.

When they do a GOOD JOB you RETAIN them, when they don't, you KICK THEM OUT. If they COMMIT any CRIME whiles in OFFICE, you PROSECUTE THEM to serve as DETERRENT for others. I don't know what business venture you might have undertaken, but will you feel happy or motivated for your efforts to be taxed and the tax revenue entering someone else's pocket through quangos such as SADA, GYEEDA, WOYOME, etc? Will you have to be pay bribes to get business tools and services such as licences, permits, to clear your business related stuff, fluctuating exchange rates?
This is why we are blaming those incompetent NDC leadership. Moreover, we are pay them daily to do good job and if they are not performing they need to go.

Allowing western powers to interfere with our economy...interfere in trade...interfere in everything that could provide capital gains for Ghana and Africa in a whole. not looking PAN AFRICAN... Not looking within... Where is our manufacturing arm...where are our large scale farming institutions ....etc. The rot has been destroying and selling out Africa and Ghana for YEARS not just now. Lets realise that the people on the ground (us) are the ones who push the country forward with the help (hopefully if he is correct) of the Leader(s). Now at grass roots people lie cheat steal dont pay taxes send money abroad to private offshore accounts fiddle taxes...basicall do anything to ensure their selfish needs are met as opposed to others. This and the lazy, and debilitatingly egotistical, stubborn, slippery and coxcomb behaviour of the Ghanaman works its way to the top. At the top there is an exponential rise in profits from ill gotten gains. Useless people and useless, lazy, irresponsible, hostile leaders makes for a failing economy, Ghana and Africa as a whole. Foreigners play on our ailments as a nation and profit. Cant blame them.... the strongest/craftiest in this case will survive. The look ahead. We look at the quick profit for the day only to squander so there is no tomorrow. It's a shameful cycle that will keep on running until there is nothing left. People will forever sleep in ignorance laziness and stupidity. For that we have no hope...not even in one man who is exceptional (wherever he may be!). Look at yourselves first people. Allow ex patriots (Ghanaian and African to take place and work with and for you and not the white man). Take responsibility for all your actions and remember integrity, teamwork, and forward thinking is of utmost importance. Start to work things out for yourself and not be lazy and rely on whites. There is a lot to do. First thing is to stop insulting people who may be trying but are hitting their head against a wall. One thing Mr Mahama.... start sacking people and employing competent technocrats. Even public sector is a political mess. Hence why nothing works in the Public Sector

Why would you blame President Mahama and the NDC administration for economic hardship now. Why is it that you cannot blame Kuffour for his maladministration inherited by the NDC administration, during his tenure . This about the judgment debts clouding Ghana. Who put Ghana in this judgment debt? Be honest with your selves and think clearly that economy is like a wind, when it blows it does not choose one direction to go, rather it scatters all over the place. What do you want President Mahama and his NDC administration to do.
I am tired of some of the NPP supporters who have no clue as to what government can do and what is going on the world today. If your crop failed you is not because President Mahama help rain from falling. President Mahama has no control over nature.
Some Ghanaians think that to rule a country is easy. My dear friends, sister and brother, it is not easy to rule a country. Let alone your own children. Think about your country first before yourself.

CONTEMPORARY politicians have done the nation more harm than good.They are selfish,greedy and self centered bunch of individuals scrambling for the national CAKE alone.
This is the opportune time to demand accountability from these selfish politicians.
They increase the prices of petroleum products every two weeks and yet they enjoy free fuel,free electricity, free everything and fat salaries and emoluments.
The nation Ghana does not belong to only politicians. What is killing the economy is the massive corruption and thievry in the Mahama and his NDC government. Goverment officials, customs officers at the ports, and a host of others steal state revenue with impunity just because the President sees nothing wrong with that. How can we live until the year 2016 to decide the fate of Ghana? Mahama has now taken the economy to polevault 20 years ahead. One dollar was around 1.9 Ghc when Mahama took over from late Atta Mills but now the dollar is at 2.9 Ghc. The entire economic management team is bogus. The Finance Minister and the Bank of Ghana governor lack pragmatic strategies to handle the economic and monetary policies expedient to reposition the nation. The president is just looking at them passively without action. Parliamentarians must team up and pass a vote of no convidence immediately to change the leadership of the country or the popular action of the people of Ghana will be invoked for an interim government to run the nation until the 2016 election year comes. If you don't feel it the masses are suffering and businesses supporting families are folding up due to high operational costs.

In fact, I pray that you all suffer even more so that come next election, you do not blindly vote on tribal, ethnic and party lines. You may be bribed and for few cedis to vote for a particular party. The money, the rice, sardines you are offered for a vote last for very few days. But when you get them voted to parliament they stay there for four years and they mess up the economy and of course your life. It is time for you to wise up.

Since 1966, when we started pursuing free for all profit maximization and privatization, this economy never was the same again. We opened the doors of this country to vampires from outside and the inside ones too surged. aided by laws and corrupt judges, Grabbing and LOOting for the sole purpose of getting rich quick took over from productivity and the situation still continues
