Anyone who lived and grew up in Ghana knows the northern region of Ghana is and has been Ghana's meat basket region. It is rather mind boggling that we have had presidents of Ghana from the NDC and NPP who have not only been stupid beyond reasons but blinded by tribal retribution; taking them out and shot would be waste of bullets.
Why would the North not be developed by a serious government administration to become the meat and dairy land of Ghana? It is not the same when government shed its responsibility and in favor private ventures such as SADA; it shows a lack of commitment from the government and an inclination to allow funds to be used for political favors. So here we are importing frozen chicken legs that cost us foreign exchange yet we cannot exploit and use the skills and service of Ghanaians in the north to safeguard Ghana's meat supply.
