This politicians have bought guns for the arm robers so that when you refuse to save in the banks they can get the advantage and rob you of your last pasewa. Shame unto them. Let pray God expose their evil doing one by one.

Why cant the banks list which services will be charged for customers to be aware? This govt is telling us that the tax wont cover salaries,loans,deposits,savings and investment.....so what will be taxed,they cant mention them ... read full comment

For that they say "as spelt out in Act 870,2013" ....maybe article 21,subsection bra bra bra....what's going on? Dirty politics and stupid propaganda has eaten into every single sector in Ghana,even banking sector....my God!!!!At the end the poor Ghanaian customer will be robbed of his small savings he depends on for survival by the banks.Ghana Paa nie,we are witnessing a real hell of time by draculas in govt.

Not that you waik to the bank for business and then meet your night mare. Arise ghana youth for your country. We are being rob of our small monies we try to make everyday throught our sweating.

I pay income tax of 20% on my salary and SSNIT contribution plus NHIS levy at the end of every month.

the banks agreed to levy only fees or commissions charged on some financial services as spelt out in Act 870, 2013.

we shall go back to the old ways of doing things, keep money in deep freezers and dig gardens and bury savings because your money gets taxed at the Bank and you can even withdraw your own dollar in your account.
