This is really a big scandal unfolding and despite the fact that Kweku Baako is being chauffeured around town in a new four wheel drive since he started defending Ibrahim Mahama in his loan default to the Bank scandal, this man has lost any creditability.

Ibrahim Mahama owns this plane, he puts it in a trust and start transacting business with the government where his brother is the President by leasing this plane to government officials and businessmen who accompany the President on his foreign travels and this so called Journalist is telling us this is not a big deal?

Why is Ibrahim Mahama trying to hide the ownership of this plane? Is it the same personal plane he owns or this is another plane?

Let Ibrahim Mahama release this plane flight manifest and it will show that, this plane has always been where President Mahama has been on his foreign travels, at least we know about Teheran, Iran, London, England and Davos, Switzerland where this plane was sighted when the President was in these countries on Ghana business.

Is the President in business partnership with his brother on this plane leasing business and it is not a conflict of interest for the President brother to be leasing this plane to transact business with his President brother? If not, why is he trying to hide this plane as if the plane is owned by the Utah bank?

Remember the Merchant Bank saga and SADA ? There he was.....He is currently being chauffeured around town in a brand new land cruiser. I guess "the new crusading guide newspaper" is doing pretty well in circulation.... Some of these newspapers barely sell but the editors are living very well - Ben Ephson, Kwesi Pratt, Alhaji Bature, Kweku Baako and Randy Abbey (the chief of staff at the President's house).

While Dr. Mustapha Ahmed is a Minister of State in Ghana, he may not have travelled at the behest of the government or on his capacity as an official government agent but was there to facilitate the interest of E&P even as the president looked the other way for his brother to cash in under the current NDC administration.
For starters, the president is caught helping his brother secure work contracts with Iran or with another entity for which E&P may require materials and parts from Iran. To conclude that the presence of the Minister of State on the flight constituted an official mission, however, is nothing but a conjecture. The Minister of State was providing the legitimacy and official credential sway the Iranian government may need to honor or grant concessions to whatever it was E&P was seeking in Iran. In either case it should not come as a surprise to Ghanaians the sitting president and the brother have been joined at the hip. Did Kufour not aid his brother, son and wife to acquire riches via government contracts and or government facilitated private contracts? What is good for Akans is good for others. In Ghana we win elections so we can get away with murder if the victor knows how.

NDC's Propaganda Minister, Felix Ofosu Kwaakye's lies have been uncovered! He was in the new yesterday saying there wasn't any NDC govt. official on board the Canada-built Bombadier Aircraft. He looked into the eyes of Ghanaians and said: "No, There was no govt. official on the plane" sending shockwaves across the country.

Well, Ghanaians have not forgotten when NDC's Yaw Boateng-Gyan told party supporters to call a dog a goat; while they could call a lizard an elephant. That's NDC; they'll lie until thy Kingdom come!

John Mahama's brother has been exposed in under-cover Gold exports and they don't want anyone to know about it. Folks would recall the tonnes of Gold that were seized in Turkey? The NDC denied any involvement; now the lid of their cups are open. They cannot hide anymore. Who do they think they're fooling?

Nobody is creating a storm in a teacup in Ghana over who flies to Iran and in what aircraft.The issue for us concerned Ghanaians is the re-leasing of a plane leased to the President's brother to the Government of Ghana! There is a conflict of interest about the President having that plane used to transport government officials abroad. Then there is the legitimate question of what the cost is to the Ghanaian taxpayer for the re-leasing.

We are tired and fed up with the extraordinary lengths which the Mahama government is going to take care of his brother. An entire national bank, to which the President's brother owed money for the purchase of a Lear jet, was strangely-privatized at great loss to the taxpayer. Now we have a second plane leased by this same brother RE-LEASED to the government at an unknown cost and flying all over the world engaging in unknown business! Of course, it is not expected that self-styled journalists moonlighting as unofficial company p.r.s would share taxpayer concerns!
