The suspicions of fraud in every decisions of political leaders are wrong, and we need to stop the habit.

Let us abandon unnecessary adverse suspicions of things other people do, and look objectively at the good and bad sides of issues before we make decisions/pronouncements about them.

Ghanaians saw the way he and his uncle and co bled this country of ours in those eight years they ruled. they remote-controlled most of our judges and ensured that some former ministers were sent to jail under some strange reasons. today, he had the guts to say he is been witch hunted by the current government. he should compare his wicked uncle kufour's records with that of the good old prof mills and the current president and tell us who was guilty in this aspect. wicked and bloody people like them!

How long should these things go on in this country? Howmloong did it take Kufour, the criminal to put people he percieved to thieves in prison,even in most cases without any valid evidence, leading to the death of some of them? If president Mahama and his government want Ghanaians to take them serious, they should do the right thing by thouroughly investigating this man and bring him to justice if he is found to have misfired somewhere! Is this not the same man on whose head many cases were hanging,including the sale of State Palm plantations? Are we serious in this country? This Dr. Akoto-Osei is, simply put, an idiot without intellectual honesty or love for or of nation. In most government of many civilized nations where there are practices and procedures that govern government actions and decision making he, Dr Akoto-Osei, would have known that a contract that was being initiated and offered to Bankswitch under his watch was then being honored by another entity at the time if he had to followed acceptable norms.
First in the line of acceptable practice should have been the official notification of the then bearer of contract at the Ports and harbor of a pending termination of contract at end of contract term. Second was a presentation and solicitation of services via the open bid contract of government for which Bankswitch had won. Third parliament should have approved and authorized the hiring of a private agency even if the constitution did not mandate certification by parliament relative to contracts between government and Ghana-owned entities. This is what an honest morally righteous person beyond reproach would do in the interest of the nation; he chose to serve the interest of a political party and or the president. And yes the NDC administration has not been able to successfully convict and send most of Kufour's thieving people to jail but the same is true and can be said about most of Ghana's criminals who have not been caught, successfully prosecuted and or served a day in jail; that does not make either group honorable members of the nation.
