  The government must watch all those coming on board now to take praises for the rice production. Just like the oil they sat back till it suited them and their cohort. Please grant them lots in difeerent regions so that they do not infect our high yield seeds with diseases. Also monitor how much is spent organizing capacity building when such monies could be spent building kindergarten and day care centres for the families who will be spending the rest of the lives breaking their backs on the rice farms. Another prior investment in the rice growing areas could be water treatment projects such reverse osmosis plants and water distribution networks.

  They brought us gun powder and liquor and took away our strong men and beautiful women. Today, the Germans want to plant their experts in our SMEs n the name of training and capacity building but with a hidden agenda of nderstanding how we do things. Now they are talking about rice production. Could this not be part of the EPA strategy? Africa is always lost because we don't have strategic thinkers. There is o free lunch. Our leaders must think and engage all and sundry. There are many intelligent people around but we still want to use shallow or tired minds.
