Where were you taught that major policies could be announced without first thinking out its implications? Which stakeholders did you consult before coming out with that foolish February decision? Who told you that you could take over foreign exchange people were encouraged by our laws to save with our banks and still expect people to continue bringing in more of their foreign exchange? You have taken over their foreign exchange, Now reap what you have sowed. The worst is yet to come.

The main cause of this dilemma is that first the late Prez Mills just sat back and allowed the country to run on autopilot while enjoying the benefits of the past government's good works. Then of course that run out and in came Prez Mahama who managed to spend a whopping 4.7 billion dollars in 3 months before the election. Did he ever have an idea about how much influence that kind of expenditure could have on this small economy? That and the fact that there is no proper or should I say honest and sincere economist to correct those ill effects. There we are!

Well, well, well. If the measures taken by BoG are not working, then the diagnosis was either wrong or the medicine was ineffective. So which is which? BoG, you have made the situation worse with all your ineffective restrictive policies. Re-establish free enterprise and let demand and supply establish the true rate of the cedi to the dollar and watch the economy reestablish a new equilibrium. Corruption, stealing, and all the vices that the Blackman practices are the true causes of our deplorable economic state and not dollarization or foreign exchange accounts

The negativity does not help.
