The Ghana Investment Promotion Center is a Paragrph grave. It puts rules and regulations and obligations on investores to "chop" their money, even before it enters the economy of the Country. A company that has to deal with the GIPC becomes incopetitive with local companies and faces a strict game ."..by all the rules", whilst others can sometimes dudge the system and act flexible. Investors registred with the GIPC are mostly frustrated! The GIPC is contrary to a free market and it actually prevents foreign investments. Mr. Mahama please think about a real opening up to investors and stop hiding behind communist style institutions!
