Summary of the case and findings OF CAUSATIVE OF DEATH OF AMINAWALLAH N.C.ABUDU- RIP – NOV/ 28TH, 2009 AFTER VACCINATION OF 2009 H1N1 SWINE FLU POISONOUS PANDERMIX / ADJUVANT ,
Aminatawallah (Amina) was given the H1IN1 influenza vaccine on November 23, 2009 and developed severe sneezing, sore throats, muscle fatigue, headaches, fever, weakness in her joints around the ankles and feet, and pain in the arms. Amina was given Tylenol to reduce fever and pain on November 24th through 28th and received an estimated dose of 1600 mg in 5 days. She suffered a sudden cardiopulmonary arrest at her home on the evening of November 28th. She was 5 years and 10 months of age.
Emergency Medical Service (EMS) arrived at the scene at 1900 on November 28th and Amina was in asystole. EMS tried to resuscitate her but without success and took her to the Scarborough General Hospital. She was given atropine, epinephrine, calcium chloride, and bicarbonate but the resuscitation was unsuccessful. Amina's temperature was 39.5 oC. She was pronounced dead at 1948 on November 28th and Dr. John Carlisle performed the autopsy on her body on November 30, 2009.
Dr. Carlisle examined Amina's brain and other organs grossly and microscopically and reported the following lesions: 1) The gross examination of her brain showed that it was slightly swollen with gyral flattening and sulcal effacement; and 2) the microscopic examination of H & E stained tissue sections of Amina's organs revealed that she had moderate chronic inflammation of the laryngeal, tracheal, and bronchial mucosa; patchy alveolar hemorrhage and edema; cerebral edema, and scattered cortical hemorrhage in the thymus.
Vitreous fluid sample was collected and analyzed and revealed a high potassium level of 16.0 mmol/L. A blood analysis revealed that Amina had an acetaminophen level of
