How could the Bawku Municipal Assembly come to the conclusion that the ban on motorbikes has outlived its usefulness? Has the crime wave especially murders and robberries normally carried out by use of motorbikes reduced? Who are best placed to inform on tghis statistic, is it the Security services or the Assembly? I strongly urge the Assembly to rather advocate for the gradualand partial lifting of the ban, by making exemptions for such essntial services such as teachers, hospital workers etc. A blanket lifting of the ban would bring back those horrific crimes that the security services were having a hard time dealing with. Desperate situations require desperate measures. The security of the area nd the right to life are prerequisites for development, there is therefore the need for dialogue with the Security agencies on this matter. No need for any confrontation on the matter.

I strongly agree with the security agents never to lift the ban on male use of motorbikes. We may deceive our weak souls that all is calm but there is still fire underground. Twea to these warmongering assemblymen.
