this govt is soaked in corruption and has compromised our future with their shady deals with the Chinese . you talk of humble beginnings only to support those who destroy any chances we have at a better future for our children . you pass laws on GMO that will eventually have a devastating effect on our agriculture just because of a few pieces of silver bribes or what you now term as lobbying . you ndc have no heart or conscience just look at what your police are doing to the small enterprises and the weaker in our society . we here of heart wrenching stories of police so power drunk that they arrest drivers carrying goods and hold them in custody for enough days so the produce be it fish or other perishables get spoilt as they want bribes. small capital of a few thousand cedis goes up in smoke because of this callous selfish corrupt attitude and we say our economy is collapsing but dont realise the backbone of our economy are these very same small businesses be it selling roasted plantain on the street corner or traders in the market . you drive around in you air conditioned cars with police escorts so you dont get stuck in traffic but do nothing to implement solutions that will make it easier for the common man . you spend all your time scheming and conspiring so the people because of your propaganda are perpetually confused and remain ignorant . yes we call for a revolution to clear this oligarchy and if we have our way before then end of this year Ghana will burn so out of the fire the pure gold of our nation will come out . your govt is cursed and will never do anything good for our people as you will remain blind to what is visible to all righteous souls and never know the right way forward even if its presented to you . your legacy will be only one of deepened tribalism , corruption ,treason and betrayal of the national interest assisted by your Chinese criminals . all institutions of state are a disappointment and failure as they are so corrupt they no longer serve their purpose . if we do not stop you the tribalism and anti Akan agenda will become institutionalized .your govt has not created a single sustainable business rather collapsed many industries we inherited from Nkrumah and before.under the guise of minority rights you would rather promote sodomy instead of legalizing marijuana as you are more attracted to perversion and gutter morals than doing the right thing . ndc where is your integrity and common sense ?

The country is deeply divided because of the recklessness of NDC politics. There's again absolutely and I mean absolutely no iota of confidence in the Mahama led NDC gov't to develop the country, because of the sheer incompetence and outrageous thievery that has been unleashed on the country via create, loot and share, at the expense of investment in the economy of the country, to provide for the holistic growth and development of the nation. In this regard, Merchant bank, Woyome, Subah, Isofoton, African Automobile, CP, Waterville, SADA, RLG, Gyeeda, etc, etc all come readily to mind, and the staggering amounts involved, makes absolute nonsense of any attempts to unify the country around any government policies to achieve any goals of gov't, when the perpetrators of such reckless and nation-wrecking acts, are rewarded and the NDC gov't defends such an aberration, whilst the masses continue to sink deeper and deeper into hardships, despair and hopelessness. Indeed, such bad governance cannot engender any support for any gov't policies because it would mean the approval or acquiescence of such rot and malfeasance in our body politic, which would spell doom for the society, on the pretext that the elected executive takes the intelligence and trust of the masses for granted. These are the consequences of accountable governance which is largely an anathema for the NDC gov't, and in 2016, the voting out of the Mahama led NDC gov't, should make it clear that, governance and indeed, good, accountable and transparent governance and democracy is serious business, geared towards the greater public good of society, and not for sending the citizenry into poverty, hardships and unbearable living conditions, whilst the elected executive who hold the mandate of the citizenry in trust, abuse it for their personal aggrandizement and amongst their family and friends. The tagging and insults of our religious leaders again has been the stock-in-trade of the NDC gov't, when such leaders in seeking to educate the masses about what is wrong in society, which is their duty, are seen to court disaffection for the executive. Ghanaians are witnesses to the insults that have been heaped on religious leaders who have dared to speak out about the rot in society under the NDC gov't, and it is interesting the propaganda, they are doing. Of course, such insults can be forgiven, but cannot be forgotten. The NDC gov't is not fit for governance and need to be sent packing in 2016, to address the fundamental issues of transparent, accountable and good governance in a democracy which has sunk to it's lowest ebb under the Mahama/Amissah Arthur led NDC gov't.

Polarization as well as politicization the country has been engulfed in has a wider dimension and therefore the clergy alone have very little to do in terms of defusing them. The general public is unfortunately unhappy about developments in Ghana and the presidency need to understand why that is so. Lack of coordinated long term planning, fiscal and monetary management incompetence, lack of vision to address the challenges facing the youth, corruption, bad leadership, theft and greed, inexperienced politicians in key positions basically learning on the job, clergy/supposed men of God doing "their own thing", and indiscipline on the roads and everywhere, police/judiciary corruption and bribery, etc, etc,.
So the president ought to appreciate the magnitude of these challenges and find lasting solution instead of appealing to the clergy. A more pragmatic view ought to be taken of these challenges and all Ghanaians must be part of this.

After praying, if there is wisdom to be shared, are you ready to listen and take? Nation divided along NDC and NPP isn't our major problem. Everyhere in this world of politics, there is this division. Our major problem, which you always avoid to mention, is CORRUPTION. Giving contracts to someone for the fact he/she is party member and pays into the party coffers is nothing than CORRUPTION. Stop preaching division, that is not our problem. Be honest with yourself, rid yourself and your cohorts of corruption and that will descend on the nation. You are corrupt, the people you rule with are corrupt, what else do you expect? They are so busy with stealing that, they hardly have time to think and come up with anything substantial betterment of our nation. If you think Ghanaians are fools, better think again. The days when manner fell from heaven to feed God's children as He did with Moses are over. All our needs have already been met by what it says in the Bible. We lack Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding to read into what gifts we have been offered and how to utilise them. We want HIM to give us Favour by worshipping a BLACKSTAR instead of a BRIGHTSTAR. We have decided to resurrect an Empire GHANA without thinking of How that name came about and what caused it to Collapse. There were blood sacrifices attached to the use of the name as followed by first President We steer our future with our WORDS because our CREATOR used WORDS to establish the earth and all that is in it. We kill and resurrect with the words that come from our mouth. What are we to preach. Life giving words or death giving words. Patriotism is a thing of the past in Ghana. It only works within tribes and families. How would a Federated Ghana (SIKAMAN) look like. The fast development of the nation would only be from a FEDERATED (SIKAMAN) Ghana. You can see the results of elections being influence tribally with strong PATRIOTISM for that particular area and not as in consideration for the Nation. Arise SIKAMAN and let the changes take place NOW or we shall remain like a swimmer strugglling to take breathe as he steps on other swimmers for his breathe. A rotational PRESIDENCY by well educated Chiefs in the regions would help the development of this nation. Churches, Mosques and all religious bodies must run business for their members rather than collecting monies from them in the name of GOD and in that way corruption would be reduced. It is a shame that religious bodies give education to the public only to put them back into corrupt institutions headed by SATAN who is still the ruler of this WORLD. Why are the religious bodies not going into the private sector to establish industries and factories to feed their members. Then Government would support by setting out a mandatory Code of Practice, strong Standard Board as a checker and collect taxes from them. Seek WISDOM and get UNDERSTANDING. GOD have mercy and favour us. Stay Blessed . "SIKAMAN"

My heart bleeds for the abysmally low standard of journalism I see all around in the country today, What a poor reportage! This is serious! How can you give a whole report without telling us the occasion? All you said was "he told the clergymen at the FLAGSTAFF house on Monday.." but which clergymen? WHO CALLED ON Him and why? For what reason did they call on him? Do the clergymen live in the flagstaff house or do they work there? So from where did they come? From which church do they belong? This should have been established right in the first paragraph. I don't know whatever happened to Ghana's once good standard of journalism. This is serious, very serious. Today if it's not bad grammar, it would be bad vocabulary, and tomorrow it is just abysmally shameful reportage as this. Where do we go from here? Is this all the result of messing up with our education system? God help us!

Kwame Nkrumah of blessed memory was the best of the best leaders Ghana ever had. he was a unifier and very patriotic. he preached vehemently against the country been divided on tribal lines. he made all Ghanaians think as Ghanaians. he integrated all tribes and put them on board the ship called 'GHANA' until evil and tribal bigots like prof abrefa busia, jb danquah, Edward akuffo addo, john agyakum kufour, general afrifa and co emerged and seriously preached tribalism in our peaceful country, Ghana. tribalism had seriously polarized the country. the kind of politics these evil and tribal bigots brought into the country has become so serious that at times brothers don't talk to brothers and sisters don't talk to sisters. was that the kind of Ghana dr Kwame Nkrumah wanted Ghana to be? when intelligent, nationalistic and patriotic people like the late good old prof mills and the current president wanted to reverse this negative and dangerous trend in our country, descendants of the aforementioned evil and tribal bigots, threatened to make the country ungovernable but they will fail big time in the name of our good lord!

I will describe the incessant call on the clergy to take the country into prayers from the Prez. as consummate laziness on his part.
After all, is he also not a believer?
Can't he as well offer prayer for the country that he governs if he thinks prayer is the only panacea for our troubles? He must be serious with his assigned duty and quit this needless game he constantly plays with us.

The question need to be asked as to whose side your so-called religious leaders are on. A true religious leader is supposed to be a-political and be found to be only on the side of God. He must be found to walk in the spirit of Elijah, Elisha, Isaiah, Jeremiah,John the Baptist, Paul etc. These were men who spoke God's mind regardless of who was in power as king during their days. They could not be bought. Unfortunately your so-called bought and payed for religious leaders went to sleep when their cronies-NPP- were in power and only woke to make rebellious and insidious noise when their nemesis-NDC- came to power. They are indeed a disgrace to Christianity.
Read 1Timothy 2:1-8, Titus 3:1-6, Romans 13:9-16. These are the things they ought to be doing to help the President with the needed peace of mind to lead God's flock- Ghanaians.
Anything short of those will be tantamount to rebellion and sowing seeds of discord. Proverbs 6:16-19, 2nd Peter 2:10-22, Jude 1:9-16. The question again is, On whose side are your so-called religious leaders?

No sound minded leader will turn down constructive counsel. As a Pastor myself, I believe the Lord Jesus has taught us how to address our leader-the President. I am enjoined by God's word to show respect no matter what. It is rather unfortunate that certain Pastors will take to the airwaves and print media to vent their spleens on the President. This is utterly shameful. Read Romans 2:24. No wonder God's name is blasphemed today in the country. Lastly I pray that their reason for not liking the President is not because of his ethnicity.

A leader who should be prayed for is the one who wins elections but not those who steal elections by any means.

It is so heart-warming to hear a President appeal to the Clergy for prayers. This tells me that such a leader is God-fearing and full of wisdom. In fact the President need not make any appeal to the clergy. The word of God in 1st Timothy 2:1-8, exhorts all Christians to pray for our king (PRESIDENT). It is therefore imperative for all true Christians and God-fearing Pastors to pray for the President and desist from firing cheap shots at him. The clergy is to encourage their Parishioners to submit to authority. Romans 13, Titus 3:1-7.

Kagee or whatever you call yourself, every sound minded person welcomes constructive and fair criticism but gross insubordination and disrespect as is being practiced in Ghana by you and your NPP Cohorts does not bring progress. The most successful people the world over aren't the loud-mouthed critics but rather the humble and quiet ones who offer suggestions and advise to their leader in a respectful way. Take a look at Bill Gate, Warren Buffet, Google President and most of the heads of major companies in the world. Incidentally those who got their wealth through thievery are the ones who are insubordinate and criticize the loudest. Hopefully you are not one of them-NPP-GET-RICH- BY- ANY-MEANS.
