he university of Ghana - Legon which is the premier university in Ghana sadly today does not appear in the top 500 universities in this world. Everything must be done to correct this.
Things which me ought to take into consideration include the:
1) The faculty student ratio
2) Research projects undertaken by the university
3) The quality of the grades of the entry class (internationally normalised)
4) Peer Review by other universities
5) Opinion of employers
6) The motivational power to take initiative and the will power of the graduates

HAS UNIVERSITY EDUCATION PLAYED A '''DENT'' IN THE SOCIOECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF GHANA.
IT IS INDEED A PITY THAT, THE CAPACITY FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN GHANA HAS STILL NOT BEEN ADEQUATEL TRANSLATED INTO INNOVATIVE AND DYNAMIC MIDDLE LEVEL INDUSTRIES IN THE COUNTRY.
THE ECONOMY STILL REMAINS LARGELY DEPENDENT ON EXPORT OF NATURAL RESOURCES.
SHOOULD OUR CONTINUED LACK OF TECHNOLOGY AS A DRIVE TO INNOVATION BE A GUARANTEE FOR THE EDUCATED,ENGINEERS AND NATURAL SCIENCE GRADUATES ALWAYS TO ASK THE THE GOVERNMENT TO BE THE CARETAKER FOR THEIR EXTRAVAGANT LIFESTYLES.
SIMPLY NO.
WE MUST BE SHAMEFUL AND DISGRACEFUL PEOPLE ON EARTH.
