  Parliament should should enact a law to establish an autonomous agency devoid of political control whose main duty is to guide the cedi. The agency should be given power to take measures that would ensure the strengthening and stabilization of the cedi.
  The officials should not be under any government control.They should be appointed for life in the same manner as the supreme Court judges.
  Their sole duty is to deal with the cedi.
