Ghana limits our diaspora to those who left after 1957 , the nation of Akan recognizes those in Brazil , Caribbean ,USA etc centuries ago as all children of Akan and most welcome home just as the Israelis also are not limited by time . yes even Michelle Obama is a child of the Akan nation like it or not . Oh my God, Usain has taken an early lead but being chased by the cedi as if it is a bullet. Fuel prices is catching up . Ladies and Gentlemen, The Cedi has overtaken usain and stretching to the finishing line. Fuel Prices is galloping like a kangaroo. Fuel Prices has overtakeb Usain. Oh the event has ended with Cedi winning, closely followed by Fuel Prices and Usain collapsed just at the finishing line, gasping for air.
Yes, this is the situation in Ghana. We ain't seen nothing yet so long as politicians continue to plunder and lie to us, there are worse things to come. Government is not like a Tea Party. Why should the price of petroleum products rise each week? If it is due to the falling value of the cedi then may I suggest to the government that they are doing exactly what they don't want others to do: dollar-indexing the cedi. Now, can schools and others enterprises that were charging dollars also review their charges by the day due to the cedi losing its value? Why don't we just agree to increase the price of petrol say on every Friday of each week?
