In my mediocre mind I don't see any issues with the stance of the govt in de-dollarizing Ghana. The leadership, both past and present, allowed this destructive and illegal means of transactions to sneak up on us. Where was everyone when this started years ago? I have always being opposed to using $$$ for doing any business directly in Ghana. Ghana must be in charge of itself and not let things run amok before we put forth such regimes after people have gotten used to it. Most of these business leaders should know better but will always look the other way when paying in $$$ favor them. GH is a very self-destructive nation due to lack of straight forward and hands-on leadership.

All this fuzz is just a means to divert attention from the problems created by our irresponsible politicians.
People who have deposited dollars in their dollar-accounts should have the right to withdraw their dollars when needed.
It is wrong to allow Deputy Ministers who have not earned any foreign money to withdraw dollars, and then tell the genuine owners of that money: "withdrawal of dollars is collapsing the Ghana economy".
It is not:
" lack of straight forward and hands-on leadership.",
but rather: lack of HONESTY in leadership, combined with our own timidity and sheepishness.

If it not AGI, it is the so called TUC, which is trying to oppose everthing the government does.
