Ghanaians must be thankful to God Almighty for the peace and harmony between our people that we are enjoying and stop drumming war drums.Even advance economies have gone through and are going through hard times. No political party in Ghana can solve the problems of the country over night. We are calling for a military take over which is the last thing we need in Ghana. Insighting civil unrest is not the best way forward but rather constructive critics with suggestions as to how government can solve the problems. That is what politicians in civilized and advances democracies do. After all, all politicians in Ghana are CORRUPT.

I can understand that it is calls such as this from Titus Glover that urges Kofi Asamouh and TUC to keep going with the series of complains and threats of strikes. Politicians such as Hon. Glover must engage themselves thinking of providing solutions to challenges confronting Ghanaians and stop the lazy attitude of complains, incitement and threats of civil disobedience. Statements such as this should give an impression of a statesman who is interested in finding solutions to challenges that confront Ghanaians. Hon Glover must understand he is paid by the tax payer to think and not to do partisan politics with critical issues such as the economy. Yes; we can not afford to politic with the economy on a daily basis.
For Kofi Asamoah, let me repeat: Since when did the Kofi Asamoah find his voice? was it after the NPP lost elections in 2008? This degree of partisanship is horrible. All of a sudden the TUC boss has found his voice and will comment on everything including how Komla Dumoh should be buried - State Burial. Where was Asamoah when this country was under the scourge of kickbacks, cocaine-missing-here-cocaine-missing-there, HIPC, sale of Ghana Telecom, collapse of Ghana Airways, tribal nepotism, etc?
Kofi Asamoah's agenda is clear and workers should know better. There are two sides of a coin: how can you keep complaining of increase in wages without ever encouraging increased productivity. Increased productivity is a key component of TUC's bargain that must never be lost. You cannot keep pointing fingers at others (Govt) without considering the fingers that point to yourself. Indeed TUC must stop the complains and threats and think of ways of complimenting Govt's efforts at meeting the challenges of workers.
We want to see the TUC as part of the problem; after all the broader understanding of govt include, both civil and public servants and us all. What has the TUC been doing with workers contributions over the years? It is high time the TUC started thinking of innovative ways of cushioning workers who have been responsible for the upkeep of the likes of Kofi Asamoah for many years.
We have got to move beyond this pettiness of daily complains and threats and rather wear our thinking hats. This is what we call responsible leadership; a leadership of dialogue for a win-win situation."

You have started playing drums for more problems, please go to the NPP and advice to stop the nonsense.
Look here the TUC has better things to think of, do you think the TUC boss is like you an inward looking man?
