To develop an insecticide strong enough to deal only with fruit fly and not damage the environment is strangely easy to do but quite costly.Scientists will have to be able to identify the growth and immune genes of the fruitfly(sounds complicated but highschoolers with right tools and equipment can do this in less than three hours) and then test various poisons on the to find the most effective yet unharmful to humans.Unfortunately all this will cost probably cost a whooping $65,000 in reusable equipment and labor. That is less than the amount we are going to end up spending per day to sponsor our boys effort at the world cup.
Ghana needs you.
