Ghanaian only know how to sit down on round tables and talk leading to nothing, thinking we are the Best in the whole of Africa. We look down upon every nation in Africa, thinking we are far ahead of every nation in Africa. While these other countries in Africa are quiet, not boasting and not blagging about themselves, are developing their infrastructure and economy.
WHILE IN Ghana WE SIT in our filt, sell and eat in filty surroundings, swallowed by rubbish, filt, filt and filt, we are rather going back to the Gabbage Age. Our stupidity, when an MP or a public servant is given money to provide service for the development of thenation they use it for themselves because they know they can do it and nothing can happen to them: no arrest, not even paying back. This encourages more and more peopleof all walks of life to misuse funds that are meant for development. How often have people not ask for long term development plan for Ghana, which would be enshrined by law, not useless party policy and politics. That is exactly what the Ivoirien Government have set up to do.
Is this man who is showering praises on Ivory Coast going home to Ghana to do something similar for his country? No, of course, because he cares less.
Is it correct for someone to sell lands belonging to someone else? We do it in Ghana it is still going on. People in high office are using their authorities to selling off lands earmarked for future development. People who buy them are aware and they go in for them thinking because of the corruption nature of our society they can go away with it. NO, NO, NO. This has to stop. If you do so, do not cry if you loose your land and your building is pulled down. IN Ghana IT IS TIME WE RESPECT THE LAWS OF THE LAND. IF YOU BUILD ON LANDS BELONGING TO AN AGENCY OF THE GHANA GOVERNMENT KNOW THAT YOUR HOUSE WOULD BE PULLED DOWN. THE SHC HAS SOLD ALOTS OF GOVERNMENT LANDS TO THE PUBLIC. THE SO-CALLED OWNERS THINK THEY CAN GO AWAY WITH IT. THEIR TIME WILL SOON COME TO HAVE THEIR HOUSES PULL DOWN. THE GOVERN IN POWER HAS TO BE TOUGH. GHANAIANS ONLY UNDERSTAND FORCE TO OBEY SIMPLE RULES AND REGULATIONS.
MARKET STALLS ARE BUILT FOR THEM TO SELL THEIR WARES. HOWEVER, THEY WILL TELL YOU THAT IT IS FAR FROM THE MAIN ROAD, AND REFER TO SELL ALONG THE MAIN ROADS!!!. MADDNESS!!THEY CRY TEARS WHEN THEIR KIOSKS, SHOPS AND STORES ARE PULL DOWN THEN THEY BEGIN TO PUT BLAME ON THE GOVERNMENT OR COUNCILS.
THE GOVERNMENT IS ONLY TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING BY FREEING THE ROADS FOR FREE AND SMOOTH TRAFFIC MOVEMENT.
IN IVORY COAST AND MOST OF THE FRENCH SPEAKING NATIONS OF WEST AFRICA THE MARKETS ARE CLOSED TO ALLOWED FOR CLEANING OF THE MARKET. INTRODUCE THIS IN GHANA AND THE PEOPLE YOU ARE TRYING TO HELP TO SELL IN NEAT AND HYGIENIC ENVIRONMENT WILL TURN ROUND TO INSULT YOU BECAUSE THEY PREFER TO SIT, EAT AND SELL IN FILTY DIRTY SURROUDINGS. NO WONDER WE HAVE COLERA IN A MODERN CITY LIKE THE CAPITAL OF GHANA.!!SUCH DIESEASE IS ONLY FOUND MOSTLY, AND UNFORTUNATELY IN REFUGEE CAMPS!!. IT IS SHAMEFUL FOR ACCRA, KUMASI INHITANTS TO SUFFER FROM COLERA.
LET US HAVE A STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN TO (1)PROVIDE PORTABLE WATER TO ALL
2. ELECTRICITY TO ALL
3. TARRED AND MOTORABLE ROADS TO ALL
4. CREAT PUBLIC PARKS AND GARDENS OPEN TO ALL, NOT THE TYPE RESERVED FOR GATED-COMMUNITIES
5. ROADS FREED FROM ROAD-SIDE HAWKERS
6.REMOVE ALL MARKETS FROM MAIN PRINCIPAL ROADS
7.TO MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO SELL LANDS SET ASIDE FOR FUTURE DEVELOPMENT.

@ frank, thank u so.Mich for ur contribute indeed u are perfectly right. I'm in la cote d ivoire and I watched the forum on TV. As a Ghanaian we brag of everything ,thinking we are leading in Africa meanwhile otherwise sit quietly and think.wisely and bring innovation.. the most painful of this forum ICI2014 when the vice president of the republic of Ghana I actually didn't what he even said to attract people to his own country and even encourage people to invest in sub region. Our govnt is corrupt to the high office..president ouattara even though I don't like the man but indeed he is a mentor and he has a real development plan for cote d ivoire... he holds every months a ministerial meetings with its appointees to see how they use the fund release to.them to work with . And each ministers has to present a viable proof otherwise u know u will lose ur post and be judge accordingly but unlike Ghana we don't even have a meeting with our appointees for a year to see the different development project and we brag of that we will develop.our country . I'm really disappointed in this so call led government... may god blessed Ghana . Here my line +225 59716164
