Yet,almost everyday the President appoints somebody to a position in Government,where we have about four or five people there already.
What is the real priority of this Government at all,to give the boys jobs or to improve the economy?I have never seen such a confused Government in Ghana like this Government.

I wonder if this should cause any confusion in the NDC??? There is more to come sooner than later. Ghanaians in general are going to get amazed at what shall happen in the near future with the reshuffles in Government.

Mahama shall try to play the angelic role to make others in the government or for that matter, some NDC bigs look bad in the eyes of the Ghanaian.

It wasnt only NDC members who voted for John Mahama as president.
NDC whether they like it or not what the president say is fail. The most useless team John Mahama appointed in the beginning of this term with NDC members forgetting communication is the backbone of an government.
What NDC members at presidency turn to think about govt is very wrong. These suppose communication officers turn to make silly mistakes by posting things in the media with spelling mistake and primary school english.
Some of the comunication team say things without the knowledge of John Mahama or is Vice and that is very wrong. How can anybody in JM comunication no see or wrong this! Good living for all ghanaians child, women and men. This is printed across JM picture in his facebook and on tweeter. They turn to forget there is no room for error in what a president say or do.
If Dog is one of the best comunicator why not. The president should have the best team in the country.
All those NDC members hang around the predency are getting it wrong about what govt is.

When will this silly inward-looking attitude ever end with these political parties who think that only "PARTY PEOPLE" should be appointed by the president. I do not know Mr Malor and wou;d like to study his profile. However I believe the president appointed him precisely because rather than have the same old tired party people around him to sing his 'swan song' without giving proper advice or communicating matters pertanining to Ghana but cheap party propaganda as has characterised this government's ministers of information and communication to date, the president needed a 'fresh face', someone who will tell him not what he wants to hear, but what should be said and in the proper manner.

If I were advising the president, trust me, there is alot of miscommunication and bad messaging that has gone on that would never have happened under my watch. I don't blame these jokers because they still want to operate politics as if we are still in the 18th Century feifdoms but we are actually in the 21st Century and the electorate are more savvy than they are often given credit for.

Perhaps the likes of Kwesi Pratt wanted the job for themselves. Let me say this. We all knbow Kwesi Pratt is an NDC-supporting journalist and he has not hidden the fact. He is well known when it comes to his position on a lot of things and is not nearly as neutral as one would expect for a journalist who wishes to leave an impeccable legacy. If someone like Kwesi Pratt were given this post, it would be a complete mistake and a disaster.

What you do not want is to apppoint controversial people like that in such positions. Take Kwabena Agyepong's appointment by president Kuffuor as a case in point. He was a complete mess, brought with it his arrogance, was incompetent and in my view, overall a failure and not a help to the president. In the end he even started to believe the hype that he was good enough to run the country, hence standing for flagbearership in the NPP party!!!

Sometimes one cannopt help but feel that a lot of these people simply don't get it, and just because of their 'exposure' thanks to the media in which thyey work, they have become 'authorities' on every subject and can do 'the job'. No Sir!!!

If people in the NDC have a problem with the president's appointment, they should keep it to themselves. They also have another choice. Very soon they will have their own prediential primaries and although I am personally of the view that pitching a candidate against a sitting president is crass and does not show discipline in a party, if they so choose, and want to demonstrate their dislike for the president's decisions and style of running the country, they may well choose to go and vote for another candidate to lead them. It is that simple.

But let me say this. You have no right to tell the president how to run his government, who to appoint and certainly do not deserve an explanation from him as to why he hires and fires people. I believe the president has a team of people he relies on for counsel on a number of issues and does not simply 'pluck people from the air' and give them appointments.

I read some thrash from Okoampa in ghanaweb yesterday titles something along the lines of "ethnic nepotism" (whatever that means) in which he sought to condemn the president's choice, but arguing along different lines. For anyone in the NDc to seem to be siding with Okoampa Ahoofe on any issue is the lowest of the lowest!!!

Finally, I listened to president Mahama's brief interview with the BBC Focus on Africa this evening and I was deeply moved by his eloquent tribute to Komla Dumor whom he descriebd as yet another "Gift Africa gave to the world". He indicated that Dumor even visited him recently and that Dumor had some useful advice for him!!! I rather admire this candid admission and credit paid the journalist which so far has not been captured by this, and other media!!!

Let's stop this partisan nonsense and allow the president to run the country, including appointing whomsoever he chooses shall we? Ghanaians who do not belong to your NDC party but who chose to vote for this president feel deeply offended when so-called NDC people behave in this unpatriotic, deeply partisan and divisive manner.

If people choose to criticise me, one thing they mustn't even try is to suggest that I belong to the "NPP rented press" (as I often get from the other lot when I address similar crass behaviour in their party) because I am not "hired" by anybody and will refuse to behired as such.

Besides,after the fiasco of Mills confused appointment of Ayariga as spokesman and Koku as Director of Communications in addition to the Ministry of Information, one would have thought that the speaking had been left for the Ministry of Information. What now becomes of the daily press conference at the Flagstaff house. Will it now be addressed by Ben or the Ministers. Finally why add more to our problems? How much will Ben be paid for his work. Another Landcruiser et al?
