  The economy has been in crisis since 2013 and likely to worsen with the indicators that we see. Government response of increasing tariffs and taxes is not the panacea. Innovative and far reaching policies that lower taxes and the general cost of doing business, transform agriculture, improve social services, (water,energy) improved infrastructure, as well as value-addition to gold, cocoa and other forest resources is the way forward.There is too much rhetoric without action.
