Why Montenegro? Poland or Czech would have been a close substitute to Germany and Portugal. Montenegro is not good enough and we would not learn anything from that match that can defeat Germany or Portugal

The only thing is you would have killed the hopes of not only Ghana but other African countries trying African coaches again.
mediocrity written all over the wall. It doesnt help at the world cup stage. You need to be a dare devil coach to think of surprises and semi finals. Aggression and outsmarting is on the mind of all competing teams.

At least you could have tested your strength with another WC qualifier since that match would have been played in a very competitive spirit.
