platanias or plantain fc are currently sitting in 9th spot in the greek league. playing for a mediocre greek league 6mths before the wcup is not a guarantee for selection. however, i will also be watching to see how nkum improves. as far as the right back spot is concerned, opare and afful are the surest bets as ofright now. they have showed their form and consistency for club for more than a yr. i hated nkum for leaving basel. let this be a warning to all u young soccer players chasing after big money. thisis a competitive sport n those who are the most successful, get the big paychecks n the fame. if you rush, u will only be fooling yourself. had he stayed at basel, nkum would have easily been one of the best rightbacks in europe. KWASIA!

No wonder no Ghanaian player finds himself in African roll call of honour in 2013. Have you noticed Ghanaian players are unable to make any mark in the premiership save for only Essien whose career has also dipped. Isn't it surprising Ghanaians without quality players still make the most noise coming from Africa just because of a 1/4 final exploit in 2010. Laughfable indeed.
