I am in the textile business and I am so baffled at the lack of ingenuity in the field.They won't allow for importation better quality from other countries yet they are not able to satisfy the industrial demand for raw and unprocessed material.The only thing coming from them is the old kaliko cotton.What can we do with that? and who wear those?

What has politics got to do with a business? The problem is.. these companies need to rise up to the public demand. today's fashion goes beyond our traditional fabrics! spandex, nylon, lycra,etc,etc.

No one want their products so they either innovate or go bust! Government is how ever to increase import taxes on garments which it has.. but to make sure all taxes are paid and to reduce some taxes on local produce to make the market fair
