What has he achieved since he has been in govt FIVE years now? he was deputy to Dufour when we got indepted to half of our GDP and borrowing at 17 percent interest rate. Then as Minister in 12 months now, no achievement. Roads are still uncompleted, mining companies are still paying peanuts to government, government is still subsidizing electricity for mining companies, we are still flaring gas, Oteng Adjei wants to poison our land with GM, etc etc. If he wants to stay he should prove so by his public record.

The rented press controlled by the Dzelukope mafia of the NDC are creating stories to defend and protect the stealer who as deputy finance minister, aided Alfred Woyome and other thieves of the NDC to strip Maaaame/Daaavi Ghana of all her flesh and left her with the skeleton.

NDC and its ministers are not assets,but rather parasites and liabilities to Maaaame/Daaavi Ghana.

Ghana would never have become a highly indebted poor country(HIPC), if not for the blessings and sake of the NDC stealers.

TEKPER is smart enough to know that his policies have not worked. It's not about him and the people he works with, but the results. The economy is stagnant and he knows he did not do a good job. He left his two children and wife in the US to move to Ghana to serve. By the way one of his kids is mentally challenged and he did all this for mother Ghana and without knowing any of this you come online and want to smear the man. The world bank actually loaned him to Ghana if you don't know it. He has a job there when he is no longer serving Ghana. Has not bought a house or a car in Ghana and focuses on the job. It does not make sense but its possible that this terpkor is not as bad as he looks. Woyome was before his time, gyeada before his time,akunfem,vanishing trees and all those blood sucking deals we are aware of all took place before his time. Whilst he has made some of the most outrageous statements durings his tenure, i personally have not heard of any chop chop business. That certainly is not consistent with the ndc methods and naturally they will be kicking some shit.

Tekper is quite a disappointing finance minister. Firstly he came to office with his own personal vendetta by causing the transfer of experienced technocrats who have worked so hard at the ministry in their working life. He believes that the ordinary ghanaian must be squeezed of every penny in the form of some baseless taxes. He decided to tax cutlasses, he taxes condoms, and the most worrying is the tax on mobile handset which was actually abolished by the kufour regime and replaced with the talk tax. Atta mills maintained this abolition but terkper in his myopic mind decided to bring taxes on mobile handset back and at the same time maintaining the talk tax. initially the tax was set at 20% but the guy in actually fact has set it at 43%. In all these increases, contractors are unpaid, district asemble common funds in serious backlog, NHIS in serious arrears and this informer believe the finance minister is a so called hard working guy? The earlier the president show him the exit the better.

Most entrepreneurs in the private sector don't pay taxes, cocoa export revenues are not what they used to be, diamond, bauxite and gold taxes are not what they used to be, we hardly get anything from agriculture. The one area you can get the revenue easily is utility hikes or the Ports...do you get it? Note we can hardly pay our own civil servants and keep up with retirement payments. So now tell me where will you get the revenues from if you are so smart?

These are some the reasons why overseas qualified Ghanaians do not heed the pleas of the President to come home and help. Politicians in Ghana are corrupt to the core that they will use every means necessary to destroy whoever who does not toe to their wishes. Look at what is going on in the camp of the NDC against a dedicated and pious person who has left every luxury behind to serve his country. It's not in the NDC alone but in the camps of all other political Parties. With the help of the Almighty Lord Dr. Seth Terkper will prevail over his enemies.

Today, it is Seth Terkper,tomorrow, it is Bani that aggrieved people in the NDC are plotting to remove from office. Why cant Ewes do away with this inward looking attitude and call a spade a spade.
