where is the politics in this? Are you serious? why would you consider training staff to perform better on their job "money sharing"? the staff worked very hard and far exceeded their annual targets and a fraction of the amount was used to further train and upgrade their skill/competence so they can perform even further - and you are here blowing dirt? what did you contribute to Ghana in 2013?

kojo, don't make this personal attack. I probably did something better than yourself but since we don't know each other, lets put differences aside. I don't come here to talk to individuals like you but the government

Exceeding budget is not what we expect or dream of to hear from the Forest Commission at this point in time , on the contrary we expect workable strategy that will enhance sustainable forest products for the benefits of the future generation. My question to the Forestry Commission (Mr Dartey) is what kept the commission from implementing such program as "human capital development training and refresher program, sustainable forest management and plantation development, protection and sustainable utilization of wildlife resources"in his article. Why 2014 and not the previous years? We need figures showing available forest products, especially timber. I think Ghanaians do not need "exceeding budget by 56% from Forestry Commission " but the real picture of trees left eg. Odum, Oyina, Wawa etc. for the generation to come.
