When this man was speaking rubbish the NPP either encouraged him on or remained silent forgetting that one day his arrogance will get to them and here we are.

I for one wouldnt want to see the NPP disintegrate or else the NDC visionles thieves would have a field day so NPP needs to remain vital in order to keep them in check.

Kennedy Agyapong is behaving as if he is above the law or he can use his wealth as a ransom. His threats are empty and should be ignored because cannot do do anything if he is summoned. Membership organisations including, political parties do have rules and members should abide such rules otherwise there would be chaos.

In any case, if Kennedy Agyapong willingly agreed to pay and paid bills for NPP then he cannot ask for his money back unless there is documentary evidence that such payments were loans or were made on certain or specified conditions that have not been met by the party (such as the freedom to say whatever he wants in return for his money). Again, if he made donations to the party, he cannot ask the party to refund the donations to him unless he can prove that the donations were loans or were given under certain or specified conditions that have not been met.

He is just talking rubbish. In my view though Kennedy Agyapong gives the party millions in contributions, he is more of an electoral liability to the party with his unguarded utterances, especially, during the 2012 election year.

Many of them are the ones making noise now, vilifying NDC Gov't so that the Ganaians who don't undersand politics vote out NDC in 2016 for them to come and take our money to refund their sponsors. There is no control over campaing funding, and these guys get into all sorts of deals and claim to be "financing" their parties. When they do anything (however silly), they are not called into question because they are 'bankrolling' the party. Yet others who raise less serious but nonetheless important issues for the party to address are cirricatured and summoned before a 'kangaroo court of elders'!!!

I just find it hard to understand why people will continued to take such a party as SERIOUS and an alternative for government. Not long ago the CPP had a similar problem with Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom trying to use his 'money' and being the major 'financier' of the party to 'monopolise power'. When he eventually failed and the party faithful decided to go a diferent way, he chose to 'pull' his money and form his own party. Where has it landed him except to be on the fringes and shouting over the rooftops at anything he doesn't like!!!

We have people who claim to have been in politics for a very long time but who still lack basic skills, understanding and know-how to be responsible and effective lawmakers. Whatever the 'truth' about Kennedy Agyapong's accusation of his party leadership as "corrupt AND thives", the fact remains that he is arrogant, absuive, indisciplined and thinks he is above the law of the land. This latest threat on his part is one that if I were advising the NPP, I would tell them to call his bluff, and ask him to leave. He will be the loser and in my view, the party will be better off, and perhaps even command more respect from the independent electorate.

No one man (or woman) is bigger than a party or movement and no one should take any party hostage just because they can boast of 'financing' them. Konadu Agyeman Rawlings learnt the hard way when she was shocked to find that she wasn't that popular after all in the NDC party, and that she had seriously miscalculated and lost big time. Now she is neither here nor there with her NDP party and has left it to ignorant 'spokespersons' to be doing her bidding on her behalf. No one is even sure if she wishes to mount any challenge for political leadership. She would have been far better served by finding a constituency and standing for parliament where she could make her mark on her own account instead of 'riding on the back' of the 31st December Movement which was heavily funded from internal and external funds and for which I doubt there has been any serious accountability. For all we know, the wastage there is far worse than GYEEDA, WOYOME and the Drill Ship saga combined but who will raise their voice on that?

And the call themselves politicians!!! We have a long way to go indeed!

I listened to you on Oman Fm yesterday when you were talking about some issues that went down, prior to the 2012 elections, and how some of these things might have contributed in no small way, to snatch victory away from the NPP, apart from the machinations, ways and means as well as the outright rigging that were perpetrated by the incumbent party, to remain in power at all cost. Indeed, a greater majority of the rank and file of the party, share in your frustration and your pain, which is understandable, when you put in so much effort, including your time, resources, your money and your connections and links, to ensure that, the party won the elections. Nobody can say that, you don't deserve commendation for being a devoted, committed and unflinching supporter of the development in freedom fraternity. It is very informative, the issues you are putting across to raise awareness about the problems that the party needs to tackle and address, in order to strength it and also, make it more accountable and better prepared to address the problems of the masses, when Ghanaians finally decide to entrust the NPP with their mandate, which insha allah, would happen in 2016. However, the nature and the scope, as well as the delivery of your concerns, sometimes rubs off of people the wrong way, although they are true, and much as the party appreciates that, it would help, if it was couched sometimes in a much more moderate and dignified manner, to bring everybody around the issue and solutions proffered to address them. The heading of this news although I didn't hear you say that, if that was indeed what your said, then it was a bit too harsh because, in a party, every member has something to contribute, and it is the amalgamation of all these efforts, ie finances, prayers, encouragement, moral support, etc, etc, that builds and strengths a party, and eventually crowns it's success. Please let it not be misconstrued to mean that, one is more important than the other, but rather, the Great Kukrudu Party, should pull each other along, forgetting that one is more important than the other, but rather forging ahead, working and pushing the walls of despondency, stagnation, retrogression, corruption, incompetence and ineptitude, that the NDC party has visited upon the citizenry of this nation. It is in our collective resolve, and our unflinching unity of purpose to advance the course of humankind, in which lies our strength. Raise the issues but let's do away with the emotions, and in it's place, let very sound reasoning prevail, and above all, let there be some decorum.
