How can a newspapers like the Chronicle attain any credibility?. How can the editor and his/her journalists reach any international inclusion of proficiency in professional journalism if they make meaningless and unintelligent statement like 'BV machines rot under Afari-Gyan's watch'. For heaven sake Dr Afari Gyan is not Electoral Commission, he is the Commissioner and the Electoral Commission has many employees delegated and responsible for certain aspects of the day to day operations and maintenance of this very important office. May be the editor of the Chronicle would like me to likewise blame him/her for the broken window in the canteen! So what, this is the Ghana we are in now? Hatred, innuendos, fabrications, violence. lies and no sense of moral responsibility! Always trying to sell people we disagree with to the dogs for cheap and disgraceful applause. What a disgraceful manner of trying to gain significance and respect in our society. The 'kokoase okusie' journalism will not watch, Mr Editor. Blame the Electoral Commission for the failure but not Dr Afari Gyan. You should know better with your so-called education and capability in running a newspaper joint.

Editors at the Chronicle need to do a better job of substantiating facts from bull; they should get second sourcing for their stories they deem to be newsworthy.
The EC is an agency of government and like every agency of the national and local governments funded and supervised by an incompetent Ghanaian legislative body called parliament is underfunded.
The Chronicle publication could have earned its worth in Korle lagoon sand waste if they did investigative work on why Ghana's educated elite class are incapable of managing goat farms if their own lives depended on the success of those farms. And while at it the editors should provide reasons why Ghana's media houses depend on national government for Christmas handouts and buyouts to keep each of their sorry outfits in operation year after year.

It's okay, the machines are of no use anyway. Biometric verification is unnecessary according to both the EC and the Supreme Court.

With all the embarrassments and disgrace that mr. Afari Gyan caused the country why is he still occupying
his former post as the head of the Electoral Commission? Is there no one in the country to do the work efficiently than Mr. Afari-Gyan? Please, leaders of Nkrumah's Ghana wake and do the right thing before everything in the country gets out of hands. Remove him from his post and put someone better to steer the EC out of Afari Gyan's rots.

The Ghana of today has already kicked "Freedom and Justice" out. Any Ghanaian today who believes in that maxim and/or honesty is "a big fool".
You must be dishonest and corrupt, if you want to be successful in Ghana.
Once upon a time, Ghana had STANDARDS!
J.A. Ankrah resigned "honourably" upon something John Mahama would only smile at.
Forget Ghana. The humans then are already extinct. Today you meet people who are just chasing their instincts.
