    You are going to destroy the ecosystem, displace whole communities just for 60MG of power. Enough of the dams, let's go nuclear. Ghana is too small a country to continue to lose lands to inundations

    GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE!YOU HAVE SAID WHAT I HAD IN MIND.OVERLOADING THE VOLTA WITH DAMS IS NOT THE SOLUTION.SOLAR ENERGY CAN SUPPLY THE WHOLE OF THE NORTHERN PART OF GHANA.TROUBLE IS....THEY DON"T THINK LOGICALLY.

    you people can't maintain cars or building and you want to do nukes? Mexico just had truck with nuke device hijacked after it was removed from old hospital! since the fools opened the container the thief will have died by now ...

    Mr Philip Tetteh Padi of the Engineering Services Department of the VRA said the Authority had been doing feasibility studies on the Pwalugu dam since 1993 through a consultant. 20 yrs of feasibility studies, God help Ghana.

    Why this meeting in Tamale? The right thing shoud be done, with my little knowledge Pwalugu is in the Upper East Region of Ghana. What is the outcome of this long feasibility studies since 1993?

    Thank you KM and ODI. Comments on dams not all right, we can make better use of the flooded land economically with good natural resource management. Ghana needs more cheaper sources of energy such as the dams. Nuclear is the ...

    Ghana has been conducting feasibility studies on the dam since 1993. This dam could be completed in just about four years from now. The authorities are not serious.
